Christmas decor you just don't like?

It's obviously all down to* *personal taste but..... which items of Christmas decor leave you feeling colder than the weather outside?
For me it's the Disney baubles/figurine things that hang on the tree! Putting a little red hat on Bambi doesn't make him festive, even worse when it's the whole collection and it looks like something that belongs in a nursery!
Thinking about it most Disney films seem to be set in the summer so maybe that's why they seem so wrong on a Christmas tree🤔
I did go through a phase of everything being silver/black and white (should give the Disney lovers something to cringe at on my behalf! ) but over the last few years I have added a bit more colour, obviously in a very tasteful almost still neutral way...
This thread is hopefully lighthearted, I am taking the piss out of myself and do not feel I need hate mail from the 'Disney Christmas Decoration Foundation'🤣

Anything blue and cool white lights. Not remotely festive.

When I get given a Christmas tree decoration from Australia. So, a red kangaroo or something. I "lose" these.

All of it except candles and lights.

What the actual F is a gonk? How is it Christmast? I feel like it's just appeared over the last few years.

I'm not really a fan of those big bow things people sometimes put on their doors.

Can’t stand blue fairy lights. Someone round here drapes their house in them then switches them on to flash so I keep thinking the police are outside 🙄, because nothing says Christmas like having a riot van outside your house apparently

When I was a child, people used to pin colourful foil doily cut-out things to the ceiling.

Gonks. I don’t really care if they are Christmassy or not (they aren’t though), they are just creepy.

And the elf on a shelf is honestly worse than Chucky.

I don't like any outside decorations except lights, and door wreaths. Inflatable Father Christmases and figures in the front garden - nope. Not a fan of the big red bows on doors, or blue lights either.

Tinsel.

I cannot stand the look, feel, or smell.

Cold blue lights cos nothing says festive more than crime scene chic

I hate cold white lights. I hate blue Christmas lights too. I hate flashing Christmas lights. Veering away from decorations a bit now but I also absolutely hate elf on a shelf and also hate advent calendars for adults especially ones full of crap like mini beauty products. Now others have pointed it out- yes those gonks are quite horrible and pointless too.

Otherwise I am really festive and love Christmas. Edited for rage induced typo.

I don't have gnomes in the garden and I equally don't want a weird gonk in the house for Christmas! 😕

Gonks, Elf on the Shelf, Nutcrackers, blue or black decorations/baubles, any decorations that make a noise or require batteries

Flashing lights, indoors or outdoors. They trigger my vertigo.

That weird trend of having so much big stuff on your tree that it doesn't look like a tree. Footballers seem to like the look, it's bizarre!
