Well that's good, I thought I was going mad after the third roll on caused the same problem.
I bulk buy certain necessities at certain times of the year to maximise my boots points, ended up throwing 4 lots away in December.

SauvignonBlanche · 08/09/2025 17:19

Thank you - have they published the batch numbers?

They have. I’ll take another screenshot.

I’m so relieved. I’ve been using Mitchum for 20 years and couldn’t understand what’s been happening to my armpits!

PuppiesProzacProsecco · 08/09/2025 17:33

What symptoms has this been causing? I've had dry, itchy skin under my arms and a long the sides of my breasts and wondering if it's this....

Mokel · 08/09/2025 17:37

Is there an internet link for this ?

35965a · 08/09/2025 17:45

I knew their deodorant was what burned me. I had burns all under my arms, it was horrific and took weeks to heal. Someone on my insta complained too and they fobbed her off saying it couldn’t have been Mitchum even though by then there had been loads of complaints on TikTok and forums.

Idstillratherbepaddleboarding · 08/09/2025 17:45

Ooh I’ve been getting dry armpits and wondered why!

Remingtonsteele · 08/09/2025 17:46

I thought this was just me! Thank you!!!

Mistletoewench · 08/09/2025 17:47

I’ve only just seen this ! My daughter said her arms were hurting on holiday, I’ve just checked the batch number and it’s the same one.
she had a red sore rash and had to stop using it

BlackCoffeeAndSugar · 08/09/2025 17:48

I've been having this - so sore. I assumed it was pregnancy hormone changes until I read so many others had the same.

cattykinns · 08/09/2025 18:06

I had this with Mitchum about 18 months ago so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s more than just these batches. Coincided with my mum dying so thought it was just a reaction my body was having to the stress/grief. It’s taken me until recently to get my pits back to normal and I still have some scaring.

Exactly the same, I thought it was infected, I used a steroid cream to clear it. It was really really bad and sore.

didntlikethis · 08/09/2025 18:50

I've been burned by it too - have just contacted them via their website. I'm chronically ill and it's the last thing I needed.

It'll be interesting to see how they respond.

TomatoSandwiches · 08/09/2025 20:05

I thought a string top nightie had twisted under my arm pit and caused a friction burn, there was a big red line of sore skin but then it started to itch and then a few days later my other side had a patch and a few more by the end of the day.

CatInspector · 08/09/2025 20:12

WTAF!!!!
I've had those last August and recently
Thought I had sweat rash

I've still got the bottle but swapped to Sure solid stick and it cleared up straight away.

Artifishal · 08/09/2025 20:14

Thank you for sharing this - i took have had issues and just checked and i have one of the BNs listed.

Plan2025 · 08/09/2025 20:18

Another one who had dry and irritated arm pits and switched to another deodorant thinking it must have been me! Will check the batch number but now it all seems to make sense. Thank you for sharing

mintich · 08/09/2025 20:19

I had burns under my arms too! I was trying to blames something else, although couldn't think what, as I've always used mitchum

Dinosaursare · 08/09/2025 20:20

Has anyone actually had a response from them? Dh has severe chemical burns from it

MissdeeVine · 08/09/2025 20:24

I called their helpline, and they tried to fob me off with a Revlon voucher for £3.50. I pointed out that I had had to visit the doctor and get a prescription for a steroid cream. They have now referred it on and I am to wait for an email.

OtherS · 08/09/2025 20:39

I've had this - thought I must have a crappy razor! I never would have suspected my Mitchum as I've been using it for years, so very glad I stumbled across this. I will be checking my stash and replacing. Thanks for posting!

Lafufufu · 08/09/2025 20:40

Thank the lord I thought another perfectly good product had been ruined for me

@MissdeeVine thats shocking!!!
