Where you sleeping tonight

Our bedroom is currently 34 degrees im thinking about sleeping downstairs my partner says he's sleeping in the garden. Are you all going to bed as normal or sleeping elsewhere

On top of the duvet in our room. Dp is in the spare room so he can have the window open.

I was just pondering this. Currently have an ice towel round my neck. There is no real difference between the outside and inside temperature.

I've got an air con in the spare room so I might sleep on the floor in there.

When I lived in a tiny very hot flat, I'd often come home from work to find the cat wrapped round the bog as the combo of tiled floors, porcelain and cold water made it the best place.

Sadly I wouldn't have fitted.

I’ve got to keep my cat indoors (he’s got a healing abscess after having a fight), so I can’t open any windows beyond the ‘first latch’ including upstairs as he jumped out 😵 on Saturday evening. He’s moaning away, but I have no sympathy! 🙄

I’m on top of the bed with a wet towel wrapped around my feet. Very tempted to go downstairs as it’s deffo a few degrees cooler

On the top of a strangers bed in my pants, which sounds a lot sexier than in a holiday let sweating through my eyeballs.

I thought I was the only one with a hubby who suggests sleeping in the garden! Last time he did it the london foxes stole his flip flops. I’m going to sleep in my bed!

There’s no heatwave in Scotland. I’m under my 15 tog duvet and quite comfortable. We’ve hardly seen any blue sky for weeks and it has been raining & very windy.

Amyone want to swap? I hate the weather in western Scotland.

In bed… DH is snoring downstairs so I can’t even keep the door open (no hallway). At the moment I’ve got the fan going, but it’s 29C with the door open, so it’ll be hotter when closed. The second bedroom is even warmer (as smaller) so no good.

I’m under just my duvet cover and light throw with my hot water bottle that’s been in the freezer all day, it’s very comfortable

28 degrees still in my room. Dying! On top of the bed and with ice packs under the pillows! Be a long night of not much sleep I suspect

Downstairs on the sofa here too. Everyone else is unbothered upstairs. I have a stupidly big glass panel in my bedroom - paying the price for that decision whenever we get a heatwave 😢

In our super king with 2 large fans, one each side of the bed keeping us cool.

Thankfully my bedroom is always cooler than the living room. I’ve been sleeping under an empty duvet cover though. I can’t sleep without some sort of cover but way too hot for even the thinnest duvet and we don’t have flat sheets so the duvet cover works perfectly.

Upside down house, bedroom with solid floor downstairs, works really well

I am in the garden although not sure I'll sleep well, I can hear distant traffic, a mosquito and hedgehogs crunching on their cat biscuits!

Its cold and rainy here :-(

Downstairs on the sofa. Struggling with my asthma a bit, and have had a headache all day, so feeling very sorry for myself.

I'm considering sleeping in the car with the engine running and aircon on!

Iv been taking extra of my brown inhaler today. Keep your blue one close by just in case
