We're in NATO and we possess nuclear deterrants. No-one is going to attack us.

Thats not to say it can’t escalate- but at the moment no. Everyone else is calling for calm.

Absolutely not. I’m just quite surprised at the lack of concern in what feel like really concerning activities. I don’t personally want the UK to be dragged into a war but each to their own.

If iran launched a nuclear weapon at Israel (or Russia at Ukraine) what would the outcome be? Presuming noone retaliated (I'm assuming they may well do, but if they didn't) would that destroy the surrounding area only, or the entire countries, or send radiation across the world?

Sir Keir Starmer has announced RAF jets are being sent to the Middle East, after Iran threatened to target UK, French and US bases if the countries help stop strikes on Israel.

Starmer hasnt said hes backing Israel. The situation is much more nuanced than that. Not all muslim countries back Iran either.

I like to hope I’m ‘scaremongering’ but countries are already starting to take ‘sides’ and if US start sending troops to Israel are we going to as well?

Iran have said they’re aiming at attacking uk and french embassies as were allies.

It feels like a lot of other countried are gearing up for it. The way Israel and Trump behave are pretty concerning.

They sent them last time Iran bombed Israel as did other countries knocking the drones out.
