@biscuitlovers , what I do on my iPad is to click on the article. It then appears with the Mail Plus logo and isn’t readable. At the top of the screen, on the left of the web address, there is an icon which looks like an oblong box with two lines below it. Click on it and a blue box appears which says ‘show reader’. Then the article magically appears.

I seem to be able to read all subscriber only articles on the MoS and other sites like this. I am massively grateful to @voubledision for this tip.

Oooooh... on a PC, if you look at the URL in the address bar, theres a rectangle with lines in it (like a piece of paper), hover, it says 'toggle reader view F9' (so I assume you could also just hit F9)... and hey presto, I can read it without subscribing. Nice.

What a load of old tripe.

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread but I've just started a new one on her and then did some reading. By the way she doesn't live in the vicarage, just the annex, and she doesn't live in North Yorkshire, she lives in COUNTY DURHAM however much she might claim otherwise...
