Wynne Evans - another “incident” re: Strictly

Have just read that Wynne had made an inappropriate remark on the Strictly Tour last month and is now taking time off his radio show.
Having rather dismissed the hand thing on Strictly this year and speculation that there were issues between him and Katya I am now having a rethink.

@OSU "Yet the TV bosses cannot seem to deal with this. The perception that the 'talent' is all important needs to be upended."

And they (the bosses) are so stupid they can't also see how much their star presents are lacking in talent. I mean what was Gregg Wallace's talent? Apparently just SHOUTING words out loud, and yes Wynne Evans can sing but so can many other people. All so easily replaceable but they won't until the level of public outrage becomes potentially damaging.

He sounds like one of those blokes who feels the need to be 'hilarious' all the time. This is bloody tiresome to be around, even apart from his revolting sexual comments and putting his hands on Katya where they weren't wanted. Absolutely no sympathy for him

Yep I’ve known a lot of men like that who constantly joke and think they are funny often inappropriate jokes. It’s a pattern of behaviour and you’d think they’d realise it’s not wanted but it’s seems like a compulsion.

IME these men are often spectacularly lacking in self awareness and also have a huge sense of self importance (see also; I'll never get caught mentality) Until they do get caught out / called out and they invariably play the mental health card.

It's classic DARVO tactics and I am sick to the back teeth of seeing it, because it's bloody everywhere. These sort of men never really take responsibility for their actions.

They are always sorry to have caused offence. If they are, then they fully understood that they were being offensive in the first instance.

Oh to have the confidence of a mediocre man, eh?

And now John Perumbalath, Bishop of Liverpool, jumped before being pushed because of the same allegations. Worse actually. I'm so sick of hearing about these entitled blokes and their wandering mitts and filthy minds.

I think the BBC constantly trying to sell Strictly as 'one big happy family' and everyone is the best of friends makes some people forget they are at work. Not that his comments and actions are acceptable anywhere.
