Bonnie Blue -sex positivity or old fashioned shame?

mids2019 · 18/01/2025 05:49

Bonnie Blue.....just why?

I guess we have a woman that has made a lot of money and notoriety out of an act but I really can't see this as being a positive really. I guess it does highlight the age old question whether we should be against at female promiscuity or not be judgemental about how a woman use her body but it does seem rather crass.

Anyway I prefer other world records perosnally.

Yes that’s objectively true, but I find the repulsion that a lot of ‘good men’ seem to have for her, quite ironic and a massive red flag in their character as statistics show that the vast majority of men consume porn (likely free porn) so they’re morally ok with in then (when the circumstances are dubious at best) but when the woman is clearly an agent of her own choice who’s getting very well paid then all of a sudden their is a moral problem.

Hmmm, not quite. The extreme nature of the porn is clearly most of the issue here.

ChristmasPudd1990 · 18/01/2025 12:38

Well she obviously has no morals /respect for herself so why should I?

Edited

really showing your character there babe!

you aren’t criticising her for what she does, you’re going after the low blows, and criticising her for how she looks which is utterly irrelevant to the matter at hand, she’d look like that if she was a sex worker or an accountant.

i don’t like what she represents but why do you think she has no morals or respect for her self? She clearly is a clever business woman, she channels negative press into more views which means more money…

think it’s really important we as women (especially if we claim to be feminists, assuming you do) sit with out prejudices and snaps judgements, a lot of them come from internalised misogyny.

Is it? Is that where the men are drawing the line? Despite likely consuming very similar content online? Tosh. Gangbangs, Anal, group sex etc, amateur all very popular genres

men want women to be sexual when it’s for their purposes and on their terms (on demand porn) but simultaneously hate them for being sexual. It’s the literal basis for slut shaming.

@mids2019

"I guess it does highlight the age old question whether we should be against at female promiscuity or not be judgemental about how a woman use her body but it does seem rather crass."

I was thinking about this last night and the issue as I see it is why is there such publicity about this.

Why is it seen in any way as an achievement to have had sex with 1000 men in a day? Aside from the logistics I'm sure that there are many women on MN that could do the same if they so chose to (but don't do so) so it's not like she has say run 10 marathons in 10 days etc.

It's not a particularly difficult achievement - she just has to organise 1000 very creepy men and lie there.

From a feminist perspective I would rather women are judged by the content of their character and achievements than how many men they can have sex with. I also worry about what message this sends to younger girls.

The thing is, no one does see it as an achievement. Well, maybe she does, but no one else does.
It's all about her getting attention, fame, publicity, followers, money. No one's impressed by her antics.

wearyourpinkglove · 18/01/2025 12:46

The whole thing is soulless. No amount of money is worth giving your body away like that. The men included of course. I don't know where I stand on the slut shaming but I do know that sex is better when it's between people with a strong emotional connection and this is just treating a person like a piece of meat it's horrible.

They see the £3 million as an achievement

@Franklyfranky

"when the woman is clearly an agent of her own choice who’s getting very well paid then all of a sudden their is a moral problem."

But that's the point- why is she getting very well paid for this? Because for some reason having sex with 1000 men in one day gets publicity whereas for example eating a 1000 Galaxy Minstrels in a day is not (otherwise I would definitely be rich!).

If the publicity is just from "shock value" then I'm sure she could perform some very deviant sexual act in a very inappropriate manner and place that would get publicity.

You’ve misquoted me, and taken me out of context.

im saying that’s when a lot of men seem to have a strong reaction to women in the adult industry or I’ve seen with only fans creators. They seem to take particular issue with them, yet consume free porn… if you’re ok with one, then you should be with the other…

on the publicity of course it’s shocking, it’s taboo, she (and lily Philips, and generally women in the sex industry) create a monster, and the monster grows and demands more, and to get the shock factor, the attention the more shocking and extreme the sex acts must get. And that’s why no matter how you cut it, the sex industry is inherently exploitative. BUT only fans is the lesser of two evils because at least they are in control, get paid well and isn’t as predatory as conventional ‘porn’

similar argument for the porn stars of days gone by, jenna Jameson etc, except she had much stricter boundaries on what she would do but the free porn of the internet killed that era

I think she’s attractive and feminine but I’m not convinced shes 25.

Her ex husband is 27 so I think she is.

turbonerd · 18/01/2025 13:04

It is not proper sex, for starters. The men just wank in or on her. Lily Phillips apparently got a lot of sperm in the eyes even though the «men» were instructed not to aim there.
🤮🤢

Not empowering in any way. Very damaging physically, and probably psychologically too.
It’s a free world and all that. But I judge those guys who participate in these stunts and who watch them online from here to hell. Yuck, gross and bleurgh.

Totally repulsive, all of them and their behaviour

Strange comment. My husband is several years younger than me. It happens, you know.

Somethingcloseby · 18/01/2025 13:10

She was married???!!

Everyone’s different and sex can also be good when there is not emotional connection and it’s simply just a matter of getting body parts rubbed in a way that feels good, with two - or more - people participating and benefiting. There is ABSOLUTELY no way that having a conveyor belt of cocks jabbed into you feels good. She was probably numb after the 5th and in pain by the 20th….and then to do another 980+ ??

sure she’s given consent, and sure she’s making a shit ton of money. But does she ACTUALLY understand the impact of it al. Have the people around her had her own psychologically assessed before THEY agree to take part in the circus!?

It makes me want to become Amish.

Me too. I just hate the way the world is going.

Women aren't in a much better position than they were 40 years ago when I went to University.

boltt · 18/01/2025 13:22

The more I think about this, the less I believe it happened.

Bonnie claiming she's done something like this is equally problematic though.

A lot of me thinks she's making this claim to beat Lily Philips.

It's all so weird.

boltt · 18/01/2025 13:23

She's still married as far as I know.

Yes but they got together when she was 15 and he was 17. I think he would know if that wasn't true

I think - let her do what she wants.

I’m not policing anything. I just don’t think calling her a prostitute is quite the gotcha the poster intended it to be

Edited

It's not a gotcha it's a statement of truth, she is a prostitute. There's nothing aspirational or newsworthy about what she's doing.

Applecharm25 · 18/01/2025 14:59

I think it's fine. If she wants to - let her.

LaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaLaa · 18/01/2025 15:10

It’s just grim. The age of the “men” she peruses too, it’s sickening.

She looks a lot older than 25, which makes the whole “teen boy” thing seem worse somehow, is she lying about her age?

As for the men involved, there aren’t any words for them and I bet many of them had wives and girlfriends at all. You’re not telling me all 1000 were single?

I think it's good in one way in that she is doing what men have done for a long time.
And she is showing them what it is like.

She does these videos called "barely legal". Where she goes out to look for 18 year old boys to have sex with them

Right it sounds disgusting.

But the porn industry have done it the other way round for ages. There are loads of porn videos showing older men having sex with "barely legal" girls. And we had to just put up with it for ages.

She is swinging the power round to her side in a way.
