If someone said they'd arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 - what time would you expect them?

At 9:30 at the earliest 😂

At the earliest? When excited kids are involved?

09.30.

By 09.45 I'd text them to see if they were still coming.

MrsSkylerWhite · 01/11/2024 11:02

9.15

Cheeesus · 01/11/2024 11:02

Depends who they are. Most people, about 9.25.

cuupe · 01/11/2024 11:02

MrsSkylerWhite · 01/11/2024 11:02

9.15

This is what I would do

OP posts:

9.40

CatsandDogs22 · 01/11/2024 11:03

It would depend on who it was. Most people 9:30ish. Certain friends and family members I’d say 10 at the earliest.

vegaspot · 01/11/2024 11:04

No later than 945 unless they have text to say otherwise.

SilverChampagne · 01/11/2024 11:04

Anytime between 9 and 9.30 🤷🏻‍♀️
How late were they?

MagicianMoth · 01/11/2024 11:04

At any time between 9 and 9.30. Probably leaning more towards 9.30.

crazyunicornlady73 · 01/11/2024 11:04

I'd be peering out of the window at 9.01am.

If I was doing the arriving I'd probably be doing one more drive around the block at 8.55am.

But if it was my dsis I had the arrangement with I'd only start to worry if she hadn't arrived by 10am.

So...depends on the people involved.

NuffSaidSam · 01/11/2024 11:04

Depends on the person.

But if you expect them a minute earlier than 9:30am and are disappointed that is entirely on you.

You have some rude friends.

TokyoSushi · 01/11/2024 11:04

About 9:20 - 9:30, unless it's MIL then about 8:45 😑

AmandaPleaseDotCom · 01/11/2024 11:04

Depends who. I've got friends and relatives who I would say this time to if I actually wanted them to arrive before 10 because their always late.

If I said this to my MIL I'd expect her to arrive at 8:45 because she's always chronically early.

Defo depends on the person...

AmandaPleaseDotCom · 01/11/2024 11:05

TokyoSushi · 01/11/2024 11:04

About 9:20 - 9:30, unless it's MIL then about 8:45 😑

Snap cross post 😂

Bjorkdidit · 01/11/2024 11:05

If it's SIL and BIL about 8.30
If it's MIL, about 10.00
DSis1 about 8.50
DSis2 who has fully embraced her Mediterranean in law's concept of timekeeping, about 10.30.

If I said that to DSis1, I'd get a text at 9.02 asking me where the hell I was.

So entirely depends on who said it.

Fireworknight · 01/11/2024 11:06

From 8.50 - 9.45ish. Maybe 10at latest if had to travel a far distance, and traffic was bad. But if local, with in 10 minutes or so of the parameters.

SkeletonBatsflyatnight · 01/11/2024 11:08

Echoing everyone else, depends on the person. If I said it, I'd arrive at roughly 9.15. If my fil said it, he'd turn up at 8.45 (would have been 8 when dh and I first got together). With one of my friends, it would mean 10ish.

kindlyensure · 01/11/2024 11:09

9.15/20

This for my family and circle of friends.

BeeCucumber · 01/11/2024 11:09

9:15 - because it’s between 9:00 and 9:30.

CrushingOnRubies · 01/11/2024 11:11

Depends on the person!

I'd arrive closer to 9, my best friend would
Be 9:20 my mum would 9:35

Elzzup · 01/11/2024 11:12

For those saying 9.15? Why? Would you nit just say I'll be there at 9.15 then? Surely it means anytime between 9.00 and 9.30? So arriving at 9.00= acceptable, arriving at 9.30= acceptable?
