Saddest songs?

Crying my way through Don McLean's The Grave and wondered what songs make you absolutely sob?
No particular emotional connection to the song either other than it was on a CD when I was younger, but the other songs on the album don't make me cry - it's just a genuinely heartbreaking song

Mike and the mechanics.....the living years. It came out just after my grandad died. The line "I wasn't there that morning, when my father passed away" always gets me. My dad wasn't around much as a child, spent a lot of time with my nan and Gramps.

Please Don't Go by Stephanie Rainey. Take my advice and don't watch it on YT.

Live With Me by Massive Attack. Beautiful, and sad song about unrequited love.

Portland Maine by Donovan Wood.

Jealous by Labyrinth.

The one that always gets me though is Streets of Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen.

I had this at my Dad's funeral. It didn't occur to me as one to cry to until I dreamt the night before his service that it was played as the last song. So I called the celebrant and asked her to change what I'd previously chosen.

Generally sad as a song about loss of an unspecified man, more sad after I read it was supposed to be about an old man losing his male partner and not being able to be openly gay, almost even to himself, and the pain of losing something you were never allowed to quite put a name to.
