If you were only allowed one type of biscuit FOREVER … which would you choose?

I haven’t seen a Mumsnet biscuit for a while - remember those? Anyway, they don’t count because they are virtual. And they look like jammy dodgers. Biscuit

And I don’t want any bun (or biscuit) fights about the status of the jaffa. Choose it if you must you heathen.

My vote is for the chocolate digestive. So satisfying. I just ate three with my afternoon coffee. 😋

IKEA Kafferep 👌

I could (and did, just last weekend )
eat a whole box in one go 😳
In my defence - they're much smaller and thinner than normal biscuits, so the whole pack is basically just the equivalent of your 3 chocolate digestives @Tusktusk 😉

A garibaldi biscuit (or a whole packet if we're talking volume). They have fruit in them so that's healthy, innit?

lollyPaloozah · 25/08/2024 17:26

Posh ginger ones with dark chocolate- I will need to do a taste test of all those available to determine which is best first. I don't often buy biscuits, because when I do, I eat them. But dark chocolate gingers are my favourite.

The Co-Op do the best ones in my opinion! Their own brand luxury range

I don't like many biscuits but I do quite like Nairns coconut and chia seed oat biscuits.

M&S percy pig biscuits

One of those shortbread biscuits with butterscotch pieces in or maybe the M&S Dutch shortcake - the squiggly ones with choc on one end. I used to get them 2 packs for £1.50 but they've shot up in price. I have eyed up those M&S chocolate covered custard creams but not sure they're worth the money.

Grateeggspectations · 25/08/2024 17:34

McVities digestive. They modified the recipe a few years ago in the multipack. I wrote and complained. But luckily they went back to the original recipe which is just perfect.

Malted milk

EmeraldIsla · 25/08/2024 17:36

Plain old ginger nut. I’ll eat lots of (nearly all!) biscuits happily, but a ginger nut to dunk in my tea is the only one I ever get a genuine hankering for.

BlastedPimples · 25/08/2024 17:36

Lebkuchen cookies.

Alpolonia · 25/08/2024 17:40

Ooooh, good question.

I do love the M&S Viennese biscuits dipped in chocolate (expensive though).

But you also can’t beat shortbread.
