If you were only allowed one type of biscuit FOREVER … which would you choose?

I haven’t seen a Mumsnet biscuit for a while - remember those? Anyway, they don’t count because they are virtual. And they look like jammy dodgers. Biscuit

And I don’t want any bun (or biscuit) fights about the status of the jaffa. Choose it if you must you heathen.

My vote is for the chocolate digestive. So satisfying. I just ate three with my afternoon coffee. 😋

Dc2 would choose a jaffa cake! As long as it's the orange original ones.

Doves farm lemon zest cookies. They are out of this world.

M&S extremely chocolatey milk chocolate shortcake rounds.

But I plan on trying their chocolate covered custard creams soon, and suspect they might be my answer in the future.

Posh ginger ones with dark chocolate- I will need to do a taste test of all those available to determine which is best first. I don't often buy biscuits, because when I do, I eat them. But dark chocolate gingers are my favourite.

thursdaymurderclub · 25/08/2024 16:30

just a straight foward good old plain shortbread!

BeeCucumber · 25/08/2024 16:30

Shortbread petticoat tails.

Feelingstrange2 · 25/08/2024 16:30

Sondey milk and hazelnut wafer sandwiches. I got them from Lidl in their special food section a few weeks ago. They are lush!! I've bought two more packs of 12 to stash away.

If I have to choose something I know will.last forever it would be a jaffa cake. Still love them now after over 50 years!

But the Sondey wafers are still amazing

Tarkan · 25/08/2024 16:31

Fox's Classic. Home Bargains have been selling them for 75p for a pack of 5 and I don't think I want to know how many I've bought. Blush

Normallynumb · 25/08/2024 16:33

Same. They disappeared for a while but now I've finally found them again I stock up whenever I pass Home Bargains or B & M.

Plain digestives - can add Nutella or cheese etc Probably cheating but that's my choice!

HappyDane · 25/08/2024 16:35
