If you were only allowed one type of biscuit FOREVER … which would you choose?

I haven’t seen a Mumsnet biscuit for a while - remember those? Anyway, they don’t count because they are virtual. And they look like jammy dodgers. Biscuit

And I don’t want any bun (or biscuit) fights about the status of the jaffa. Choose it if you must you heathen.

My vote is for the chocolate digestive. So satisfying. I just ate three with my afternoon coffee. 😋

Malted milk!!! NOT with chocolate on it.

CleftChin · 25/08/2024 16:35

Nice. Little bit shortbread, little bit sugar, little bit dippable. I love it.

Pombearprincess · 25/08/2024 16:35

M&S Dark chocolate ginger biscuits. Mmmm.....

Allmarbleslost · 25/08/2024 16:35

Chocolate hobnob!

i love them so much I can't buy them often because I'll just eat the whole packet.

TeamPolin · 25/08/2024 16:35

It would be a fight to the death between Biscoff and Lemon Puffs.....

Raera · 25/08/2024 16:36

Tunoocks caramel wafers

WelkomInEuropaJonguh · 25/08/2024 16:37

Milk chocolate digestives, though I think they used to be sturdier than they are now? 🤔

ssd · 25/08/2024 16:37

Chocolate digestive

A really good quality shortbread

Same here. A really buttery, crumbly, melt in the mouth shortbread. Can't beat it.

ReadWithScepticism · 25/08/2024 16:38

Rich Tea. Poor as a standalone but excellent as a dip-in with tea, which is the most perfect biscuit experience.

CastlesinSpain · 25/08/2024 16:38

Rich tea biscuit spread with clotted cream.

MissPearlPratt · 25/08/2024 16:38

Malted milk (no choc) and bourbon. But if really pushed malted milk every time!

Turnitoffnonagain · 25/08/2024 16:41

I had a Penguin the other day, was nice. 🐧
I don't tend to buy biscuits too often as I scoff them all.

ImWearingPantaloons · 25/08/2024 16:41

Dark chocolate digestive

ReadWithScepticism · 25/08/2024 16:41

What about committed Christians? Do they have to nominate communion wafer, or do they get a special dispensation to stick with that AND have a hobnob or whatever? (Which would be unfair if you ask me.)

Ariela · 25/08/2024 16:43

Lemon puffs!

Magpiecomplex · 25/08/2024 16:45

Bourbon, without a doubt. Although if I was sitting next to someone with dark chocolate digestives, I wouldn't be averse to the occasional swap.

Laura36TTC · 25/08/2024 16:46

Another vote for the chocolate digestive. I have just devoured two

Pipecleanerrevival · 25/08/2024 16:46

Choco Leibniz. Easy.

GrassWillBeGreener · 25/08/2024 16:48

Stem ginger with dark chocolate. Or any kind of ginger biscuit really. Just one condition - it's got to be properly gluten-free with NO wretched OATS!

In the absence of this (currently I can't find any gluten free ginger biscuits I can eat in the UK unless I make them myself) - amaretto biscuits, if they are gluten free (sometimes they are made only with almond/apricot kernel flour and are fabulous).

SaintHonoria · 25/08/2024 16:48

F&M's Dark Chocolate Macadamia Nut Biscuits or the lemon curd ones. Hard to pick just one.

MrsMitford3 · 25/08/2024 16:48

Dutchy Lemon shortbread

followed closely by ginger nuts
