I really like the sitting room. I must say I have to give them credit for being at the absolute top end of the 'getting stuff in the house done' spectrum. They will never have uttered the words: 'we'll get round to it eventually', to any guests.

The owners have put a lot of thought into it and you can tell they are proud of the house and look after it. I wouldn't be able to keep all the knickknacks tidily positioned and neat.

Why can I hear “Who lives in a house like this?”

Just to add that it's really weird that on photo 13 one of the two statues of, presumably, Chinese Terracotta Army soldiers is blurred out but the other isn't.

Was there something rude about the blurred out statute?

Likewise, one of the two heads of Buddha has been blurred out but not the other.

Do they have some sort of naughty version of each statue that isn't suitable to be seen in public?

Also, part of the birdbath is blurred out as well. What sort of statuary do these people have going on in their back garden that the estate agents feel obliged to blur it out?

I love that they made it their home. Quite a lot could be done to calm it quite easily and the furniture being changed would be a big difference but I much prefer it to the sea of grey open-plan renovations we see round here.

Quite nice though I find the kitchen a bit scary and don't like the stripes on the front of the house. It will be better when someone buys it and that weird gothic horror furniture is no more. Garden is quite nice, neat and manageable.

A bargain though I am not familiar with Portsmouth prices.

Imagine how much of your life would be spent cleaning that kitchen mirror.
