I can’t decide if it belongs to a Russian Oligarch who had his mansion taken off him due to the war so had to cram all the stuff in when he downsized or are Liberaces family finally selling his house.

Either way I love the fact you can definitely see their personality in that house and they don’t give one shit about Instagrammable houses! Live, laugh, love is clearly still a thing Grin

Fake grass 🙄

Good God. I found laugh and love but not live.

Haha me too.

I did like the way Love was above the toilet and Laugh (and Love Shack 😬) behind the kitchen sink. Neither of these seem massively appropriate placements but for the message!

I'm almost intrigued enough to take a daytrip to Portsmouth to find out what became of Live...

Great find OP!

I can’t find Live either, it must be there somewhere Confused

It’s making me think of The Queen and I book, where the Royal family are deposed and sent with all their posh furniture to a council house.

impressive commitment to a few themes, though I’m also intrigued what they did with bedroom 3, at 5x6 feet they’ve got to be limited in scope

Brothel annex?

AppleDumplingWithCustard · 24/08/2024 01:07

My first thought was how much time and effort it will take to pack all that for moving. 😱

housethatbuiltme · 31/08/2024 14:36

Its not entirely my taste (colour wise and a bit busy), but some of there furniture is lovely.

I think it would be lovely if more people should move back to beautiful grand carved and inlayed wood furniture rather than Ikea and flat pack but unfortunately a lot of it has been distoryed by chabby chic DIYers or costs the earth.

We stayed in a place with a 4 poster bed like that when young and I thought it was the coolest bed in the world. Unfortunately its the house for sale not the furniture though.
