Does anyone else have a tea towel drawer?

Friend was over for dinner last night and asked for a fresh tea towel.
I said "sure, over there in the tea towel drawer".
She couldn't stop laughing and said she'd never heard of such a thing 😳

Anyone else have a whole drawer dedicated to just tea towels?

I only have 1 small drawer in my kitchen so no, sadly. They're stacked in a pile in my under sink cupboard.

If I had plentiful drawers, I would have a tea towel drawer!

Yes - and it has to be tidy to fit them in. They live in a pull out basket above the tinfoil/clingfilm etc basket.

Yes. Love my tea towel drawer. There is a Christmas section, special/favourite tea towels and everyday tea towels. All beautifully ironed and nearly folded.

My tea towel drawer also has a couple of kitchen aprons (one for me and one for ds) and a teacosy my gran knitted for me , where else would you keep this stuff?

I spent a pleasant hour or two organising my tea towel drawer recently-as well as every drawer & cupboard in my house.

Absolutely. It's next to the drawer of doom (string, corkscrew, spare glass droplets for sitting room light, chopsticks, egg slicer, sharpening stone, 3 million IKEA bag closers, cleaver, tin opener, wooden skewers, metal skewers, salad servers and other random shit).

Yes. Only because our kitchen (which came with the house) has a bazillion smallish drawers though. We had a baby wipes drawer for a while when DC were tiny.

Much like all the other perfectly normal people, my tea towels are in a kitchen drawer along with tablecloths and napkins.

Your friend is bloody weird. Why is a tea towel drawer hilarious? sure, not everyone might keep theirs specifically in a drawer, but I dont get why keeping household items in a drawer would cause her to laugh uncontrollably.

Mine are used, washed and returned to the tea towel drawer.
The ones on the bottom never get used. I am not into tea towel rotation. They must have been in there for years.

It's the top cupboard over the oven but over the years it's got full of cake tins and large trays that don't fit in the drawer underneath.

I have a cupboard with tea towels, spare towels in case of a flood, a Christmas tablecloth, cleaning cloths, and spare kitchen roll. It does look a mess at the moment though!

Mine have a whole cupboard to themselves! Don't use kitchen roll much so use them to wipe and clean with too.
