Who do your parents irrationally hate?

My dad hates Lulu. Can't stand her voice. My mum hates Michael Flatley as apparently he loves himself!

My mum hates Kevin Bacon.
She can't watch anything with him in it.

Your mum is right about Michael Flatley - he’s a beautiful dancer but if he was chocolate he would eat himself. Have you seen the trailer for his self produced film??
My mum and dad love Lulu, but my dad hates James Nesbitt - he claims he hated him ever since he was in a Cheerios advert as an unknown! He is smug, I’m told.

My mum hates Kylie. Total jealousy I think. Also Catherine Zeta Jones.

My mam hates Ellie Goulding for absolutely no apparent reason. She doesn't even know, when you ask her she just says "I just hate her".

My dad has zero opinions on any celebrities as far as I know.

Lewis Hamilton. They hate his clothes, his hair, his accent, his tattoos, his wealth etc etc. But most of all, they hate the fact that a working class mixed race guy became the best racing driver in the world and did it his own way.

My mum hates Michael Crawford as Frank Spencer, we were never allowed to watch some mothers do ave em! She was strangely quiet on his musical theatre career....

My mum also can’t stand Lulu or Kylie.

She doesn’t like Kerry Katona or Katie Price but I suspect that’s not unusual.

On the blokes side she’s got an irrational dislike of Paul McCartney!

My mum always disliked Lorraine Kelly (fake) and Caroline Quentin (smug).

My dad who passed away a few years ago really hated Liam Gallager, he wasn't fond of Bono either

This was my mum too! She refused to have the programme on and said the character was too stupid to be funny and no one could be that idiotic.

Have to say I sort of feel the same way about Frank.

My father loathes Andrew Neill. He's been calling him Toad of Fuck All since the 80s.

Found out MIL hates Mo Farah yesterday? For ambiguous reasons she cannot articulate.

My Mum could not bear Sian Lloyd. Every time she came on screen to do the weather, she'd be hunting for the remote to change the channel.

She also disliked Marti Caine.

Peter Sellers. Was forbidden from watching any of his films. Also Northerners, with the exception of Cilla Black (who I always thought was vile).

My mum really dislikes Paddy McGuiness. She spent a whole weekend visit repeatedly telling me that she couldn't watch Question of Sport anymore because of him.

Thank god the BBC cancelled it because I think she'd still be telling me!

I can remember my parents hating Jimmy Saville back in the Jim'll Fix It days. Thought he was a creep, with good reason as it turned out ☹️
