Which celeb do your parents hate?

Who do your parents irrationally hate?

My dad hates Lulu. Can't stand her voice. My mum hates Michael Flatley as apparently he loves himself!

My dad was a huge Morecamb and Wise fan in the 70s, we always watched the shows especially at Christmas. He would be laughing all through the programme.

He really couldn't stand Mike and Bernie Winters, Cannon and Ball or Little and Large. He thought they were totally unfunny and couldn't hold a candle to M&W.

I can remember my parents hating Jimmy Saville back in the Jim'll Fix It days. Thought he was a creep, with good reason as it turned out ☹️

Read this after writing my previous comment and it made me grimace, as my parents absolutely worshipped him. Went to watch one of his runs!

Meghan & Harry - They believe no one should air their dirty laundry in public and they have done a fair bit of that 🫣 - They used to love them initially now they are referred to as “that bloody pair” and as they don’t usually swear I know they really despise them 🤭

Ben Fogle also on my parents’ list. I think there was a reason but I wasn’t paying attention

I know a guy who went to school with him (AN, not your Dad). He agrees with your DF.

No, but he had to turn off the TV if she was on, which was a lot as she was PM, he couldn’t bear her voice as well as her politics!

My Dad was always immaculately groomed so he couldn’t stand Ricky Tomlinson, he was totally repulsed by him!
Dad was also a good singer so some of those that thought they could sing were berated- e.g Bruce Forsyth, Val Doonican, Des O’Connor. He did rate Andy Williams though!

I used to think she was a very amusing woman….until I read her autobiography & now can’t bare the sight of her! Maybe that’s me being unreasonable!

and switch off when I see her on TV. I find it odd that she's a national treasure - she's openly very rude, a gossip and comes across as vindictive.

She's only been venerated since she grew older. The youngsters (and not so youngsters) think it's hilarious that the grey haired women is talking about sex and farting. All very puerile and silly.

David Attenborough, my dad thinks he sold out when the BBC had a word with him and David Bellamy about climate change and he completely changed his viewpoint and Bellamy was cancelled!

he lives in the states and Ricky Martin often pops up on TV. Doesn't help that we shall say how much we love RM 😄
