What are people's views on this? I know my husband does it and he says he needs to orgasm daily so if we don't have sex for a few days then I understand he gets frustrated. I turn a blind eye but know it goes on discretely - fine. For context we have had issues with our sex live since DC was born but have been trying to get back on track and this week have been having regular sex. Today I walked into the bedroom and he was having a wank whilst watching something on his phone. I was annoyed as it was morning and I was in the kitchen getting child's breakfast. I came looking for husband to see where he was. Child could have easily walked in. I was livid.

He is now annoyed with me as I "shamed" him and overreacted. I have apologised for storming out but not for being angry and said I don't take responsibility for his actions. He's saying it's all about how I make him feel and connected to our sex life problems.

He was having a wank in an unlocked bedroom while his wife was caring for their child. I mean having a wank is fine but there's a time and a place...

Also to the OP and others for saying the child could have walked in, well yeah, but kids can also walk into the bedroom whilst you're having sex - that's life. Sometimes you take the risk if you need a quickie and just cover up / stop if you hear them coming!

OP is he taking steps to make sure any adult content on his phone is not accessible to the kids? I've seen plenty threads where men haven't cleared the browsing history or deleted inappropriate content on their devices before handing their it to their kids to play a game or something and the kids end up exposed to things they shouldn't.

I know someone who attached their Apple ID to their child's phone when setting it up and the photos ended up on the child's device and she was very upset at what she saw.

The fact he didn't take steps to make sure he wouldn't be walked in on maybe he isn't taking steps to make sure the adult things he's accessing on his phone can't be accessed easily too.

Don't be silly. When you choose to share your life, home and children with another human being you have every right to expect certain behaviours from them. You would have the right to ask them to wash more frequently if they smelt for example. You would have the right to ask them to use a condom, you would have the right to ask them not to pick their nose because it made you feel sick and you have the right to ask them not to watch porn and wank where children might see you. Actually you can't do exactly what you like with your own body either at home or in wider society for a number of very good reasons.
