DH loves the football and I sit there knitting and grumbling that they should not let the commentators have so many haribo.

Last night's result hurt but now I am all in for an England win, let the feel good factor continue.

A week ago we were waiting for the exit polls

I can't believe it's been a week already! This time last week I was on pins waiting for the exit poll. It feels like another world. I haven't uttered the phrase 'oh god what now' in reference to the government for a week. Honestly, I'm only just beginning to relax, I feel like I've been on high alert for 14 years and I can breathe again. I don't think it's being dramatic to say that this country has been traumatised by the actions of the last government.
