I'm not sure I really understand the question. (a) why would crying make me feel better (b) I really don't need a film for that, I can do it to myself in 2 minutes just by running through the penultimate scene in Iolanthe

MonsteraMama · 05/07/2024 16:44

Basically anything, it's a running joke in my family that I will absolutely bawl at the slightest thing in a movie.

But Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is absolutely guaranteed to produce weeping. I don't even need to watch it, my husband frequently whispers "you bow to no one" to me and I just fall to bits.

No idea if it’s any good from an adult perspective but I must have been about 11 when I absolutely bawled dramatically though Riding in Cars With Boys. A pretty bleak film based on a true story with Drew Barrymore in and an everly brothers song 😄

Moana….where her dead grandma comes back to see her on the boat after Maui flounces.

I know…I’m ridiculous.

Also the episode of Bluey where they are dreaming and playing in outer space.

😁

CourageCamille · 05/07/2024 17:05

A Monster Calls. Proper full on bawling.
