what was the first film they made you cry! Me, age 13, watching Leo in Romeo and Juliet. Absolute floods of inconsolable tears!

I was going to say Requiem for a Dream just for a laugh! But yes it is mightily bleak. It definitely made me phone my mum more often.

Genuinely teary film: Film Stars Don't Die in Liverpool. In a lovely way though.
