Moving to Yorkshire

I live in Bournemouth and want to move to Yorkshire to rent a flat no more than £600 a month for a 2 Bed Flat as it would be for myself and my 34 year old son. I would like to live in a nice quiet area. Where there is no anti-social behaviour. A nice neighbourhood. Could anyone tell me the nice areas to live in where the Rent is reasonable. Quality of life is very important to me. Any help would be very much appreciated.

SallyWD. It’s really sad. There’s so much going for Harehills in terms of location, shops, restaurants, nearby hospital, park etc. But it’s getting increasingly undesirable to live there or visit. I used to park in the side streets (those that aren’t double yellow lined/permitted) when I went to the hospital and never used to worry about leaving my car there or walking down to the hospital. Now though I get the bus in winter if it’s going to be dark when I get out. I rarely park in the side streets and use the Thackeray Museum car park so I can walk on the main road pavements. I don’t eat at the restaurants as I don’t want to leave the car or walk around in the dark. Very sad as there’s such brilliant places.
