What food have you only discovered lately

I only just found out about Golden Kiwis, they are gorgeous.
I can’t stop eating them.

My mother told me about them, I had never even heard of them, I’m at the supermarket now and wondering what else am I missing out on??😁

Camembert. I’ve tried it before but only recently started to appreciate how nice it is.

do you eat kiwis with skin on or off?

I definitely don’t eat the skin! I eat them like an egg.

I saw rose gold kiwis the other day and was quite intrigued. I think the gold ones taste a lot like mango.

Recently I’ve been buying the crispy duck from Sainsbury’s but cooking it a bit differently from the instructions to have it a crispy skinned roast with potatoes etc, rather using the pancakes/sauce supplied.

Churros! I mean I’d heard of them but always thought I wouldn’t fancy them. Tried them last year and I’m now obsessed. So crisp, so chewy, so light, so sweet and addictive. Especially with dulce de leche sauce 🤤

Maple syrup. Just had pancake with bacon and syrup. Bloody marvellous stuff.

Burrata …. It’s delicious!

Good cottage cheese - Longley Farm brand. Hadn't eaten it in years because of the horrible watery stuff from supermarkets. Tried some of the full fat Longley Farm on a cracker at a food fayre and it is delicious! I used it to make salad dressings, in sandwiches and on toast with hot honey. Delicious

Wingstop chicken wings - Mango Habanero flavour 😂Highly recommend if you like a bit of spice, bloody delicious.

Water melon. 60, can’t recall ever trying it. Really into it now because of our little grandson.

I tried feta cheese for the first time last month, it is so good! getting through more of it than I probably should 😂

Try it with watermelon and a little balsamic vinegar. Delicious!

I am obsessed. With eggs in any form, any time of the day or night. In a cheese sandwich, toasted or not. And anything else I can think of.

I am trying to improve my gut microbiome and have come across Tempeh..... has anyone got a good tried and tested recipes? I have no idea what to do with it.

Not really food, more a snack, but M&S sweet potato tortilla chips are bloody delicious.

My current "main meal" food obsession is Waitrose pork meatballs stuffed with mozarella in tomato sauce. I'm a decent cook but this is honestly nicer than anything similar I've ever made.

Wild and Fruitful Blueberry and Lemon Jam. I’ve had plain blueberry jam before and enjoyed it but the lemon makes such a difference.

You need to try the Piatnica polish cottage cheese.

Just divine.

Urban Fruit’s Gently Baked mango with lime and passion fruit. I can eat the whole bag in 5 minutes.
