What radio station do you listen to ?

I feel a bit lost as can’t find a decent radio station to listen to any more.

Love R4 but finding it quite repetitive and dull and often hate the too long plays.

I am too old for R1.

R2 seems to have awful presenters now.

I miss Graham Norton at the weekends.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a decent station with good mix of music and talk ?

I listen to at diiferent times of the day Radio 2, Classic FM and GHR.
Always listen to Desert Island Discs on Sunday.

Lbc... rarely listen to music stations

I don't listen much but I pick and choose Radio 2 presenters. If I want to listen to the radio when a disliked Radio 2 presenters is airing I go to Absolute 80s and sing along very badly.

Radio X most of the day then usually turn to Radio 2. I like DID on a Sunday and (clearly getting old) a bit of Mellow Magic.

I station hop all day. Radio 4 if I'm at home in the mornings, but never after 2pm. Radio 1 in the car on the way to work, R4 on the way home. Times radio in the afternoons or if Radio 4 has something I'm not interested in playing. Radio 2 now and again in the car at the weekends, especially after 5pm when Radio 1 gets too dance for my taste. I actually don't think a station with a mix of chat and music really exists outside of BBC local radio.

Six music

R1, R2, Six Music, AsianNetwork, Classic FM, Gold, Kiss, Kisstory, Heart 90s and 00s.

I only listen in the car, never at home.

Times radio in the morning (but the presenters from 1pm onwards are too annoying)
radio 4 if my car journey coincides with the news

BBC 6 music but in the later afternoon I switch to Greatest Hits Radio for Simon Mayo as I like the Confession slot, then back to 6 Music. Occasionally listen to Radio X.

Radio 4 before lunch, Times radio I the afternoon. Or podcasts

5 live. But increasingly I am just sticking on a podcast instead

6 Music or Virgin (but only mornings).

Graham is on there at the weekends.

LBC - primarily James O'Brien, Tom Swarbrick, Ben Kentish. If I'm feeling masochistic I'll listen to Nick Ferrari for, oh, a few seconds!

Greatest Hits Radio. Ken Bruce, Simon Mayo and a whole loads of other R1 and R2 djs.

Radio 1.

And I'm old!

5Live, I prefer talk to music.

I pick and choose radio 2 shows, also use bbc sounds for their podcast shows.

Classic FM. It inspired me to take up piano playing after a long absence.

(I used to be a regular Radio 4 listener, but I abandoned it in 2020, because it was obviously being micromanaged and scripted from behind a desk in Whitehall, and the posh voices made it even worse, with the constant mention of corrrronavirus, and Boris himself saying on the hour every hour one day in August "we have to squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze the brakes on reopening".)
