I agree national service is a terrible idea.

Babies and toddlers should not be in trousers with a waistband. Dungarees are far more comfortable and allow for freedom of movement without the need for children to keep hitching them up.
And as for jeans and trainers!!!

Nah, plenty of people support assaulting children on here these days. I think it's connected to the influx of MRAs.

Luckily it won't become socially acceptable again because the long-term research has been done, the evidence is in, and it's undisputed that it's a shitty technique associated with all negative outcomes and that its practitioners tend towards lower intelligence. ("The NHS shouldn't be treated as a scared cow") I do agree that the NHS is not sacred, but it is very difficut to say that in real life, especially if you suggest that private medical care should also be considered. I am often a scared cow after those conversations!
