I'll go first ...

B&M is over rated

Most of the home decor is tacky
I can get cleaning products at in the supermarket without a separate trip.
It's not super cheap like people say when you really compare the prices

Very interesting, I'm wondering what made you come to this opinion.

Living in the world and seeing how many women are stressed and frazzled. And being left by men who leave because there are often fuck all real consequences when they do.

I’m probably going to get banned now for saying this but here goes….

I think the concept of a ‘god’ is as legitimate as garden fairies. I can’t believe how many adults worldwide actually believe. It would be ok but the problems different faiths cause are catastrophic.

Agree! It's as believable as Harry Potter for me

Never seen the appeal of B and M and similar stores either.

Branston baked beans are cheaper there than anywhere else. I don't make a special trip there but I pass it going elsewhere.

Shaving your pubes is weird and unhealthy and men who prefer it or expect it are creepy.

How do you feel about trimming 🤣

In many societies and relgions childbearing is an expectation, not a choice. But not all women want to be mothers, and not all women are are good at, or enjoy, being mothers. Why force people into something that clearly isn't right for them?

randomusernam · 21/05/2024 14:34

@betterangels actually agree with you on these points. I don't think it's the kids they don't want though. I think it's the lack of help that they find stressful. I think more women need to consider carefully the men they have children with.

All dogs smell, even especially the ones where their owners insist they don't.

PuttingDownRoots · 21/05/2024 14:37

Baby grows are not easy baby grows. They are awkward and inconvenient.

Loose tops and separate bottoms are much easier. Pjyamas basically.

randomusernam · 21/05/2024 14:38

@Zimunya I couldn't comment on other countries because I don't know enough about it. I live in the uk I'm sure this happens in the rest of the world though.

Zipped baby grows for the win for me. But I had a winter baby. I think it must be different for summer babies

I have never understood the love people have for avocadoes.

That too. But some women have children because they've been socialised to think it's what they should do. I stand by that. Conditioning is difficult to withstand.

Bring back national service, so if you choose to come to our country (up to age 26) or were born here, you do our national service and pledge your allegiance this country. This is everyone, without exception.

Edited

you would like to see my severally disabled son sent off somewhere where he won't be cared for and forced to do things he can't actually do? Wow. You're nice.

Notreat · 21/05/2024 14:43

Cafes, shops, coffee shops and restaurants should be no go areas for dogs (except for official assistance dogs,)

People who say "I'll send you a picture of my little one doing x, y or z to cheer you up" if you are going through a bad day/rough time baffle me. Why would that cheer me up? It's happened to me from 3 different people recently during a bad time. I'm childless by choice, why would that cheer me up? I honestly don't get it, but then I think that must mean I am a bit cynical.

They’re exploiting your misfortune to go on an ego trip. A friend of mine used to show me little videos of her granddaughter in her high chair, eating, every time we met up.

I found it difficult to say “look, it was boring the last time, why would it be any less boring this time?”

BobbyBiscuits · 21/05/2024 14:45

The following things are overrated-

Christmas
Pizza
Chocolate ice cream
Lying on a beach sunbathing
Work
Owning a car

BeMoreEfficient · 21/05/2024 14:45

My unpopular opinion is: Love Island is shit.
Ive never watched it, but the concept: the shallowness, the manipulation, exploitation? Shudder.

Blackcats7 · 21/05/2024 14:45

Nobody has a right to have children or pets.
Decision to go ahead or not should be on what you can offer that child or animal not purely what you want.

BeMoreEfficient · 21/05/2024 14:45

I’ve

BeMoreEfficient · 21/05/2024 14:46

Midi skirts are not a flattering length.

randomusernam · 21/05/2024 14:48

@betterangels yes I know what you mean. I was considering it from my privileged point of view at first. The more I think about it the more I agree. It is very conditioned for women to have kids. I'm glad people are starting to fight back and say no.

There are too many pets in the world.
Badly behaved kids are disgusting and it's mostly the parents' fault.
Most men would date 20/30+ years younger - if they could get away with it.
A lot of people are secretly hostile to teachers and a free education.
English people who are not rich are so stupid for voting for the Tories.
All other countries are laughing at the UK for leaving the EU.
Vocational schools for kids who are not academic but have practical skills.
It should be easier for schools to expel disruptive students.
Students who assault teachers should be charged with a criminal offence and removed from school.
OFSTED inspectors should be brought back to school to teach full time - seeing as they know it all.
