I do think Netflix maybe should have done more, at the very least it’s bad PR but as pp said they probably didn’t anticipate it to be so big.

You might not like him as a person but I think he's an excellent interviewer.

In terms of hiding her identity, he didn't even try! She's very similar to the actress, same mannerisms, and texts/posts were used on the screen that still exist in real-life. Not hard to detect who she was at all.

The fact he PLAYED HIMSELF in a series allegedly about HIS OWN real life experiences and then said he did everything he could to protect who she is or was is one of the most stupid things I have ever heard.

Either it is true and he wanted to humilate her, or it is a pile of shite for him to finally get his 5 mins of fame. Or indeed they could be colluding and both of them getting something out of it. We will never know without both sides but the general public seem to think he is telling the truth and she is unwell and that is that which I think is unfair personally.

I don't think she ever finished her training due to being sacked for stalking. It's very clear from her facebook post's that she does not work.

No it is very clear from facebook posts with her name on them that she doesnt work. Where is the proof any of them accounts are actually hers? Still all speculation.

He owes her nothing.

maybe he his stupid though. I believe even if showed her as a 6 ft size 8 blonde, internet sleuths would have worked it out regardless. It’s like when there’s a super injuction but everyone knows who the subject is.

And if she got sacked for stalking then there is something legal out there to prove a restraining order or a jail time or something surely? Im just interested to see or hear her side.

Well he does if he has lied about her. He owes her damages for slander at very outside.

It's in noway his responsibility to arrange anything for her.
He can use his experience anyway he likes.
He was absolutely a victim of her.

I wondered who would be low enough to take advantage of someone who's clearly mentally unwell, now it makes sense. It's despicable.

Much as I would like to watch this nothing will get me to subscribe to his channel no matter what.

In the late 90s she was given a legal traineeship by the wife of a Labour MP in her law firm.

She was very quickly fired for her behaviour. I dont think she was ever hired in a legal position again.

She then went in to stalk several Labour MPs including the woman's husband.

Google the coverage of this story in the Scottish newspapers. They are covering her behaviour from that time period.

There are press articles about the stalking case that had her sacked from her first training post.

She lives in a council flat and posts all day long online so I'd be surprised if she was a practising solicitor.

Anyway, she is clearly very unwell but it still seems to me that Richard Gadd was almost as obsessed with her (or the attention from her) as she was with him.

Sadly, if you have a stalker you can’t help but be obsessed by them. This is what the series depicts very well.

I did and Laura said upon watching the show it sounded 'very familiar' to what happened to her family but again no proof. Im just nosy to be honest but it seems the world has decided this person is guilty of something and there is no actual proof of it.

I feel like the only person who has no sympathy for this deranged woman.

The initial stories said that as the Scottish press were initially not naming FH. But once FH outed herself Laura Wray has given subsequent interviews confirming all the details.

I've decided she's guilty based on my own experiences of her and my knowledge of what happened with others I know or knew but appreciate that I'm just a person on the internet and people can make their own minds up.
