This guy is completely broken now, you can tell by the way he is speaking.

I don’t know if I’ll find it a bit upsetting to watch, is it really awful?

His issues are as bad as hers? What a thing to write. He is a victim. Stop blaming him.

I heard him on the radio this afternoon. Utterly devastating.

Victim blaming bullshit! What a disgusting take

Absolutely shocking. I think this happens more than we know, because men are less likely to report it, due to stereotypes and embarrassment. It's very sad and she is one evil bitch

@terrichild You're as sick as her in my view!

I saw him on the BBC this morning and the damage she inflicted on him was horrible.

But he is safe, his children and doing well and he says he is now in a supportive & loving relationship.

may she rot away.

Those poor kids as well, seeing that.

4 years seems ludicrous.

It’s unprofessional of that female officer to be crying when she’s speaking to him. It’s not helpful to him and comes across as not impartial which can damage an investigation. Luckily in this case it didn’t.

So sad to see those toddlers crawling around him as he’s curled up on the floor while she beats him, spits at him and calls him a cunt. Hope they are getting some help so this doesn’t shape their lives forever.

I will watch this. I watched a programme about Hannegret Donnelly where she actually abused her dh to death. Horrible. My mum bullied me and my dad. She smashed his glasses when he was wearing them once and he had to make up a story to cover when he went to work. Horrible to grow up with. My sister prefers to pretend it didn't happen as she was the golden child.

Wow poor Richard, what an awful story. I’ll be watching this on catch up tomorrow. She sounds as evil as they get

A 4 year sentence is not enough - vile woman

Great interviewing by that male officer, no plausible come back she can make to that.

Just shows how evil she was not to even ask about her children and be more concerned about her straighteners! 🙄

“If we’re crying already it’s gonna be a long day” - WTF? Not an appropriate response to a victim in trauma.
