I've lost my phone in the house and spent at least 6 solid hours looking ... and I still can't find it!!

Just starting to panic now as obviously I need it for work ... and all my photos and contacts . I hate myself for this. I'm always losing things but I've never lost my phone for over 24 hours now. It's already causing me lots of inconvenience.

Where the hell is it? I know I had it yesterday morning. It was charging by my bed. I might have left it in the bedroom or brought it downstairs with me ... it was my day off work so I spent the morning pottering about, generally tidying and putting things away. Then I had a shower. Then I went to check my phone at about lunch time ... and it's gone somewhere and I haven't seen it since.

FFS. FML. etc.

This is exactly where my driving licence was when it disappeared!

However, I put my debit card in a secret place when I went on holiday last November, and it has not been seen since, and it definitely isn't in my dressing gown pocket.

How's your home security? DH had this once, phone gone in the morning.,I was saying it's where you left it. DH saying DC must have put it somewhere.

A couple of days later I found DS2 playing with a sim card that he'd found on the dining table. It was DH's. We'd been burgled while we slept. If they hadn't helpfully left the sim behind on the way out, we'd have never known, unless we'd spotted the very slight damage to the UPVC front doorframe (which is now always double locked!)

Are you saying it's possible someone broke in and moved the phone to the t-shirt drawer? Is that something that happens?!

My DS has a Samsung type tile for his keys but works off an App I assume similar to Tile and Airtag ?

I bought a key finder for my phone, garage keys and glasses. They work on RF so ideal for just the house
