Following on from the success of the 80s song thread, I thought I'd start one for 90s songs.

I'm thinking about songs that aren't really played much now, but also songs that maybe didn't get the attention they deserved at the time even though they're brilliant songs.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's suggestions.

I love the podcast 60 Songs that Explain the 90s and recommend it to everyone! (There's now 120 episodes 😂).

As well as looking into one specific song the host will contextualise it all in a really entertaining way, and often throw up other bands and songs I forgot I ever knew along the way. Incredible nostalgia!

I used to play that so much on car journeys that my daughter requested it at the school disco aged about 6. Needless to say they did not have it.

It was popular in its day. Think it was a number one because of the Levi’s advert. I bloody loved that advert! It’s rarely played now.
