Following on from the success of the 80s song thread, I thought I'd start one for 90s songs.

I'm thinking about songs that aren't really played much now, but also songs that maybe didn't get the attention they deserved at the time even though they're brilliant songs.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's suggestions.

Loving this thread. Listening to songs I've not heard for ages.

I've been listening to Mansun wide open spaces and placebo pure morning a lot on my playlist.

Used to love the entire suede album and Alanis Morissette although I spent most of the early 90's listening to the cure.

Was just telling my teen how her dad and I went into a bar in Brighton and a band casually started setting up and it was Gene!

I thought of another one.

EMF Unbelievable and Utah Saints Something Good both are quality tunes!

Love that gin blossoms one. Reminds me of the totally beautiful Kurt Cobane lookalike in my sixth form class I had a huge crush on.

Slightly off topic but recently watched The Bear (excellent of at times, highly stressful viewing!) and I think there's quite a bit of 90s grunge type tunes that ring a bell.
