Lesser Known 90s Song that You Like

Following on from the success of the 80s song thread, I thought I'd start one for 90s songs.

I'm thinking about songs that aren't really played much now, but also songs that maybe didn't get the attention they deserved at the time even though they're brilliant songs.

Looking forward to hearing everyone's suggestions. Smile

I used to love Five Star, when I speak about them no one knows who I’m talking about.
very similar to Jackson 5 but from Romford 😁 very worth searching for on YouTube!

I still have their Silk and Steel LP.

Third Eye Blind - Semi Charmed Life

That's the one that springs to mind first, but there are looooaaaads I could mention.

Pleased to see lots of mentions for Tori Amos. Bloody loved her.

Yes! @CassTheFox I thought it was only my very small gang of mates who had even heard of Live 😃

Ooo, just thought of Dave Mathews Band - Crash Into Me

Amazingly first heard "Silent All These Years" weeks before it's release on Capital Radio. I was straight down to the local Our Price to ask for it, to a sea of "Who ?". Eventually they found it in the "forthcoming releases" book,

Who else remembers hearing a song on the radio and knowing you would only have one shot at remembering the melody, lyrics, and hopefully title and artist if the DJ said it ? I wonder if Gen Z have that skill ?

My heart, my head, my fashion and my spotify playlists are all still firmly in the 90s.

I agree with so many of the songs already mentioned. I keep thinking, that's not obscure, I play it all the time, then realise I might be one of a few people who does.

Others which come to mind are:

Monday Morning 5:19 - Rialto
The Way - Fastball
Sixty Mile Smile - 3 Colours Red
Men-An-Tol - The Levellers
I Believe - Booth and the Bad Angel
Breathe (a little deeper) - Blameless
Feed the Tree - Echobelly

I'm sure there are more. I'll be back to this thread!

Also waving to fellow Gene fans.

Can we be best friends??? I love these
