That's reminded me, I heard Honeymoon in Beirut by chance on a radio interview with Andy from The Sweet. It's got all the hallmarks of an 80s power ballad, but this barely made it past top 75!

The other one I thought of was Robin Beck's First Time, which was better known as the Coca Cola theme tune and one hit wonder.

One more. This was recently played on Sounds of the 80s, and it passed me by the first time. Better days by Gun.
