I am interested in any brilliant 80s songs that you think should be better known.

I have a soft spot for Looking for Linda by Hue and Cry, and also Last of the Sun by Cry Before Dawn. They don't trouble the radio much unfortunately

Fun Boy Three - Our Lips Are Sealed. It came on Absolute Radio yesterday but before that I don't think I'd heard it since I was in school. Great song.

Also, Men Without Hats - Safety Dance. It had a bit of a renaissance after the Lipton's tea ad with Hugh Jackman but it still doesn't get played much.

I also loved Cry before Dawn, especially Gone Forever. Have they ever been played on the radio? Even in the 80s?

Well in Ireland they were, but I suspect not overseas.
