Complex set of documents though. Even if you can get on the site it's not easy to digest, so we watch this space I suppose.

U.S. financier Jeffrey Epstein appears in a photograph taken for the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services' sex offender registry March 28, 2017

Jeffrey Epstein: US court releases list of people connected to financier

The disgraced millionaire mixed with figures from the worlds of politics, business and royalty.

Following - I’d like to see what they dredge up!

Fallenangelofthenorth · 04/01/2024 00:25

"Other names have remained sealed". Some are really beyond the law aren't they? It will be like that Operation Yewtree where after a couple of years thorough investigation the only names "revealed" were dead politicians and djs.

TinselTittz · 04/01/2024 00:30

Sky is saying Prince Andrew's name is on the lists.

I thought that referred to the children victims?

Sky is saying Prince Andrew's name is on the lists.

But that's not really a surprise now is it....

KenAdams · 04/01/2024 00:38

Lots of references to Bill Clinton on Twitter but I haven't seen that in the documents myself yet. Painfully slow to load though so I haven't got very far.

Thanks for letting us know!

I'm so surprised it actually happened.

I shall wait for the Daily Fail to bang on about it for the next week or so and put it in comic book simplicity for my tiny mind.

This is going to have repercussions. I wonder how it'll affect our government / royal family and also the next general election and the US elections. Plus notable people like Bill Gates.

It's a list of people connected to Epstein so why wouldn't Prince Andrew be on it?

I see a large deflection story in our future.

I've given up on Twitter, it's just people mentioning celebs and saying they're on the list because they think it's hilarious.

Livelovebehappy · 04/01/2024 01:06

To be honest, the list doesn’t mean a lot unless there’s indication of any wrong doing. Association with Epstein doesn't necessarily mean they did anything illegal, so whilst not ideal to have your name linked to him, I can’t think that any criminal charges would be brought against them.

alltootired · 04/01/2024 01:09

From twitter.

The Epstein list has been released
alltootired · 04/01/2024 01:10

@Livelovebehappy there will be no criminal charges. It is effectively a client list.

user1492757084 · 04/01/2024 01:22

The people on the list, of course, are not proven guilty of anything.

alltootired · 04/01/2024 01:22

And never will be.

LifeExperience · 04/01/2024 01:22

It's not a list. It's the court testimony of the victims. People are reading through it. Prince Andrew had his hand put on an underage girl's breast by Maxwell. Nothing more on him yet. Bill Clinton "likes them young" according to the testimony.

Mamanyt · 04/01/2024 01:27

TinselTittz · 04/01/2024 00:30

I thought that referred to the children victims?

That was my understanding, as well. I mean, if Prince Andrew, Donald Trump and Bill Clinton all had their names released, how powerful would you have to be for your name to be covered up?

alltootired · 04/01/2024 01:28

Agreed it is not a list of people who knew Epstein. It is a list of people accused by victims of being paedophiles/rapists/sexual abusers.
But they are rich and well connected. So people will be placed on social media to defend them and they will never be charged.

coxesorangepippin · 04/01/2024 01:31

Yeah apparently Clinton was there lots

No surprise there at all

Ugh

Livelovebehappy · 04/01/2024 01:34

It’s sickening that Maxwell, whilst rightly convicted, is the only person to be punished. The rich and powerful men get away with it. Again.

Over40Overdating · 04/01/2024 01:46

It’s frustrating that a list of people who associated with Epstein in some way is being construed as a definitive list of ‘pedos’ by the hard of thinking online - surely all of this will make it harder for any cases against the people on the list who did commit crimes to make it to court because of the social media ‘everyone’s a pedo / here’s a picture of my mate Steve whose also on the list bantz’

alltootired · 04/01/2024 01:50

But this is not a list of people associated with Epstein. It is a list of people named by victims.
Bit rich to call others hard of thinking.

Iam4eels · 04/01/2024 01:53

It's not just a list of people named by victims, it also includes names of witnesses, people who visited the island, people who spent time with Epstein, and so on. Some of them won't have been guilty of any wrongdoing.

user1492757084 · 04/01/2024 01:58

Yes, trial by media increases the chances of an unfair trial and truth and justice being over looked.
The innocent are forever tainted, the guilty are able to claim a miscarriage of justice and unfair trial.
The courts recognise that any jurors risk loosing objectivity and being biased.
