Complex set of documents though. Even if you can get on the site it's not easy to digest, so we watch this space I suppose.

This thread is really interesting.
Some of the facts stated are horrifying and I cannot believe posters are still defending PA.

He was front stage @Maireas - the RF knew exactly what they were doing by allowing him (and it WAS allowing, as Charles n William knew very well they could ban him)

So say what you like, they were letting us all know their feelings to us (the plebs).

If you think an alleged sex pest/ peado/ sex attacker should be allowed in a church around young people or kids at any time (not sure why Xmas day makes a difference) , then that is your opinion. It is certainly not mine.

Oh dear lord.
Do you genuinely think that's my opinion?
That a paedophile should be unsupervised around children?
There's nothing I can actually say in response to that.

Can someone explain ? His cover was to surround himself by the rich and powerful so not all associated with him will be guilty of a crime ? So what good will the list do ?

I wondered this. Some names on the list might just be people he associated with, not guilty of any wrong doing? And some of his parties were just 'normal' celebratory parties, without the sinister element. So if you see Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson for instance (hypothetically), they could just have attended a party and not be involved in any of the criminal activity?

Believe me moonshine I’ve seen plenty of Andrew defending on the ‘royal’ family threads . Usually in the form of ‘he’s stupid and vile BUT …‘

What about the parents of the girls too! They should also be held accountable, let's face it, if your teen daughter said that a rich and powerful man wanted to take them to a private island, wouldn't you be concerned? The parents are equally responsible for the abuse of the girls as they ignored the abuse for money. They effectively pimped out their own children.

I haven't ever seen anything said before about the parents, I wondered if it was a maybe straying into victim blaming if we discussed that, but yes I've wondered where these parents where in all this.
I suppose their are arguments to be made, teenagers lie, they couldn't stop them etc, even it was a different time, but it doesn't wash with me. If these young girls have been vulnerable enough, young enough to have been groomed, then their should have been parents looking into where their kids were off to, who they were with and why.

When I've heard of grooming gangs in the UK, so in places such as Blackpool for example, you're talking about children from lower social economic backgrounds who'll happily lie to their mams whilst giving men sex, they're not old or mature enough to consent to, but this is a usually a local problem specific to those kids and areas. Teenage girls lying saying "I'm staying at laurens" and going to a dodgy flat and being abused for cigarettes or a bottle of vodka, whilst as every single bit reprehensible and dangerous, is still not the same as, "I'm going to a private island to hang out with the royals and ex presidents, mom", as, "going to Lauren's for a sleepover", where you can understand how the latter happens. I'm from one of the worst places in the UK and my parents moved us to possibly the second worse, so I've seen some gross shit.
I was offered weed at 12 if I let some creepy paedo perform a sex act on me. I never but other girls my own age and younger would happily oblige, one girl I remember at about 15 having sex with someone because she was allowed then to drink BONGWATER, (I wish I was lying/a random troll. I'm sadly neither) and these kids were the victims of generations of poverty, parents with addictions and often limited intellectual ability, but even these kids, if one had said, "Oh noncey keith is taking me to rhyl for a night, he just got his dole in and said he'd buy me lambrini and some space raiders", that would not have been something their very lacking parents would have allowed, so I do wonder what the parents of these girls knew. How do you even begin to cover that up? I couldn't get away with getting my stomach pumped without it getting back to my nana and I tried giving a fake bloody name.

Sorry that was long and a tangent, but I've given it alot of thought and nobody really seems to have an answer

Maireas · 04/01/2024 10:33

I agree with you, @Lwrenagain - it's very obvious that these girls were neglected, vulnerable, unsupervised and/or naive. Which is why these men predate on them. The age thing is a distraction.
Every time I read about grooming gangs (there was a recent case in my city) I'm horrified that no-one looked out for these teenage girls, and frequently blamed them.

Roussette · 04/01/2024 10:35

And he still has his mansion. He was never moved into Frogmore cottage.

Oh yes. That was reported as a given. Andrew was being told to leave his 98 acre Royal estate. Not happened. Not happening.

deydododatdodontdeydo · 04/01/2024 10:36

And only one prison sentence, of a female, men really hate women don't they....

How on earth has only one person been punished for this whole sordid racket. And a woman at that. Ghislaine Maxwell seems to have taken the rap for them all.

No-one is counting Epstein himself then?
Imprisoned and suicided is hardly "not punished".

GothConversionTherapy · 04/01/2024 10:37

There was a documentary on Netflix that went through the how, indeed many girls came from less privileged backgrounds and were easily swayed by the extreme wealth in display, as were some of the parents. Apparently the area in palm beach next to his house is quite poor (west palm beach I think). They also trusted Maxwell because she was a woman.

Angrycat2768 · 04/01/2024 10:39

Roussette · 04/01/2024 10:17

Of course, posters on a parenting forum would not be saying go along to the private island. We are loving parents who care. Do you know anything about sex trafficking? Some of these girls came from broken families, alcoholic parents, they had left home at 14, etc.

And that is why Maxwell should rot in prison, she could identify the vulnerabilities and offer them modelling contracts, training at academies in beauty, massage etc. These were not loved and stable girls.

This is worth a listen.

Epstein victim:

“I’ve spent the last 17 years in my own prison for what she and Jeffery did to me.
I was raped repeatedly. 3 times per day and I was not the only girl on the island.
There was a constant stream of girls being raped over and over again”

https://twitter.com/PlanetReportHQ/status/1742819882763157765

Absolutely. The only difference between them and the Rotherham etc groomers was that the vulnerable girls in those cases were bought with alcohol and cigarettes instead of with trips to fancy hotels and job offers. Both groups of people targeted girls from dysfunctional families because they knew theiy would eadily get away with it. The girls were all still groomed by men for sex and then ended up in a life where they sometimes became the ones procuring girls for their abusers. The Rotherham grooming gangs rightly are in prison, hopefullly they will rot there. The people who did similar but with more power and money are not.

Yes, I'm sure that the tricky condition of "the lease" could be overcome. If not, I'd just evict him and deal with any consequences...

Yes. And worse. See below... just a snippet..

He hasn't done anything wrong
Loads of men have sex with young girls
They weren't trafficked, they enjoyed it
Where were the parents (on this thread... it doesn't quite work like that if your mother is a single parent drug addict and just wants you to bring money home)
They were old enough to know what they were doing (yeah... what about the 12 year old twins shipped in from Paris for Epstein's birthday?)

DewHopper · 04/01/2024 10:40

MediumWell · 04/01/2024 03:04

It seems the only person punished so far, and likely to be punished, is Ghislaine. And while I have zero sympathy for her, it’s entirely unsurprising that the only person to be prosecuted for men engaging in sexual abuse of minors is a woman.

This a million times over.

Maireas · 04/01/2024 10:40

Absolutely, @Roussette and @Angrycat2768 . That's why this morning's news remains disappointing. No further justice.

HairScratcher · 04/01/2024 10:40

I would say the problem for the ME guys is that it’s likely their activity will have led them to be compromised - a lot of the rumours are that Epstein got to his position as a government asset building a blackmail dossier.

12 year old twins. Dear lord.

I got it wrong. There were three 12 year olds. From impoverished parents. Sent to him as a special birthday gift from his friends.
The world is sick.

@Roussette My point is that dirty old men especially rich and famous ones you don't need to traffic girls for meat and two veg sex.

And to me it suggests they were engaged in much more sinister behavior.

Agree - there is so much more to this. I guess GM knows but will never say.

Just when you think that it can't get worse.
I just hope that justice gets served on all these men, but I'm not optimistic.

goodbyestranger · 04/01/2024 10:47

The world is sick

Watching the footage of PA at the church on Christmas Day all the people shown greeting him were fawning and smiling. It beggars belief.

Snowflakecookie1989 · 04/01/2024 10:49

Disgusting how people, scum, are still being protected. Makes those doing the protecting as bad imho. Just get the names out FFS.

Stephen Hawking?? Really?? Well,I'm honestly surprised and shocked but not sure why I should be anymore 😔

alltootired · 04/01/2024 10:50

Nothing will happen to these men. Look at Andrew who blatantly lied to the public in a TV interview. Nothing happened. They will never be prosecuted.

I would imagine that like our grooming gang situation in the UK, parents are/were dismissed by the authorities, the girls are poor and white and so probably just slags (which seems to STILL be the attitude of the police even now).

That's unspeakably awful.

I have a friend who works in the trafficking and exploitation prevention side of Facebook (Meta, I guess). The stuff she has seen. This sort of horror is still going on all the time.

I don't understand why the RF hasn't booted PA to a cottage on one of their far-flung estates and told him to stay there and shut up. I generally support them but not in this at all.

And that will be just the start of it. We know how hard he will try to inveigle himself back into public life, he must miss dress up medals feathers ermine and all of that soooo much.

And to me, it's no coincidence that the front page of Hello is taken up with Princess Charlotte and an 'exclusive report' all about how she is 'blossoming'. Anything to detract from Andrew, literally anything. Poor kid.

"blossoming", oh lordy, that is skin crawlingly nauseous, would they run a feature like that on a male child of the same age? I saw some bilge in the Daily Vile which said that Kate and Charlotte were fashion rivals!
