They’re more common here, basically underfloor heating but outside, it only heats to be just warm enough to stop ice forming.

It gets so stuffy that I can't breathe. It's a new build, super well insulated. It's nice for half the year and then summer is miserable because you can't get the heat out and winter is miserable because the heating makes it really claustrophobic.

Yeah my cat saunters in for an hour max a day in the summer. Now I have to boot her out of the house to do her business and she's obsessed with sitting on my lap on my heated blanket for hours and hours so I can't get up without this look 🙀😑😾

The wild mice only come out to the bird table for breakfast, stuff their cheek pouches with supplies and go back to their holes to cwtch up for the rest of the day.

I stop hearing engine noises. I live at the top of a very steep hill that isn't on a bus route so never gets gritted. Even 4x4 struggle. It can be interesting watching delivery drivers playing dodgems, crashing into parked cars as they attempt to drive up it then slide back down.

when the cats try the front door to go out but it’s too cold. Obviously out the back door is tropical…oh wait. What about the kitchen door? Rinse and repeat complaining loudly.

That shouldn’t happen. Heating makes it warm, not stuffy (or should). I do open windows anyway during the bits where there’s no heating because I like fresh air.
