Anyone waiting for an Oodie to be delivered, or just had one delivered? What’s your experience?

Ordered an Oodie as a gift (for Christmas) a couple of weeks ago as they were massively discounted. No sign. Had an email saying sorry for the delay and they can’t promise anything or give an update. No way to contact anyone, and live chat taken down!
It seems that loads of people are in this position. They (Oodie) didn’t realise that big discounts meant considerably more sales, apparently 🙄

Have you had one delivered recently? How long did it take?
I know it’s still a while till Christmas, but I want to know what’s happening!

I received one of those generic messages about cancelling if I wish to. I've written this off as a Christmas present now, and will replace with something else, but I'm not going to cancel the order.

@distinctpossibility I wouldn't trust that message. Not one bit. My order was on 10th NOVEMBER and no hint of dispatch.

In the meantime, my BNWT Oodie (green tie dye, like the one I originally ordered) from Vinted has arrived! I just need the refund from Oodie now. I won't hold my breath.

@MeinKraft Wooooaaaaah, we're halfway there! or did you order more than two?

Here is the response my husband finally got after several emails with no reply. He has been emailing daily. This was ordered at the beginning of November.

This allowed us to identify various areas of improvement within the fulfilment process, with the ultimate goal of establishing a more robust and efficient warehouse operation.

While we are actively working on implementing these improvements, we acknowledge the severity of the situation. I'm impressed you've had an email @Mallowfairy - even if it's a total word salad of excuses and nonsense. I've tried a similar tactic, but no joy....I've escalated my claim through PayPal and have said in my latest email to the oodie people that I will not close the dispute unless and until the refund is in my bank account. Still total silence.....

I also had an overnight essay from Andrew. Why can't they just say, if you ordered by X date you'll have it by Christmas, if you ordered after, you won't?! That's all I want to know!

So, I finally had a refund from PayPal but it was via a complaint rather than my dispute. I raised with them that I had concerns that oodie were telling people to cancel their dispute before they would refund - they found in my favour. As far as I can tell oodie didn't engage with PayPal at all - its terrible behaviour wrapped up in faux niceness

I emailed yet again yesterday, having had no response to my previous message and just got a response. Apparently my item has now - finally- been reordered but with absolutely no indication of when it will arrive.

If it ever turns up, I’ll be amazed.

I am wondering if it’s just the UK that’s having these issues with Oodie’s service.

I've just had an update - apparently the 4 remaining from my order of 5 on 18/11 are being delivered tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

I ordered in November as I've already said. I've just tried to contact again to see if they have any updates as my order hasn't been despatched yet and it's a Christmas present. Auto response says up to 14 business days to reply to emails. That's after Christmas 😞

In case it helps, if anyone has a TJ Hughes near them then they have plain ones, that look exactly the same as the plain Navy Oodie (that they claim are £39 half price).

The TJ Hughes ones were £20 now £15. They are amazing, so warm and lovely and soft. They come in Navy, Teal, Grey and Pink. The ones on their website are different, these ones might only be in store.

Hi can I ask how you managed to get a reply from a real person at oodie? I have emailed twice now and I only get the automated replies. I’m at the point where I want to cancel and have a refund so I can buy something elsewhere

I'm still waiting on my order from mid November,I received an email saying blah blah problems with delivery but we've enclosed a PDF in the email saying that you'll receive your Oodie soon,so I was advised to give send the PDF to the recipient of the Oodie. Like that'll keep my wife warm🙄

I've had an email overnight saying they can no longer guarantee Christmas delivery, I can cancel which will be processed in bulk after Sunday and I'll get a discount code in January...
