Anyone waiting for an Oodie to be delivered, or just had one delivered? What’s your experience?

Ordered an Oodie as a gift (for Christmas) a couple of weeks ago as they were massively discounted. No sign. Had an email saying sorry for the delay and they can’t promise anything or give an update. No way to contact anyone, and live chat taken down!
It seems that loads of people are in this position. They (Oodie) didn’t realise that big discounts meant considerably more sales, apparently 🙄

Have you had one delivered recently? How long did it take?
I know it’s still a while till Christmas, but I want to know what’s happening!

Yes it was through your post I found this :). Unfortunately my order from oodie was for a child so the ones on the 5pound site are too big for my purposes. Thanks for the alert though :)

Well this goes to show that my patience in waiting since 22/11/23 has been in vain!

Hi @Grandmasubob - they do have some kids’ ones on the 5pound site - don’t know the make, though.

Glad you are at least getting your money back.

You might want to crop out your order number from your pic.

Hi @Dee1224 Thanks for that! I’ll take another look for future reference. I picked up one at ASDA for my Grandson. It isn’t a plush as an Oodie but it’s Pokemon so he’ll be happy 😊
re: order number. I don’t know how to remove it but I don’t think it will be a problem.

Glad you managed to get an Asda Pokémon- mine was an adult Pokémon for my adult DS, (who really likes Pokémon!)

I don’t know how the Oodie are getting away with this poor behaviour, I really don’t- it’s appalling!

My dispute via Paypal should have resulted in a refund being given tomorrow (they had 21 days to respond) because until now, Oodie hadn't made any response - either via email to me directly or to Paypal.

They gave Paypal the tracking number (which they gave me back in early December) TODAY - so that means they can delay me getting my refund. I'm absolutely livid. The tracking number still says that RM are awaiting my parcel....even if RM get it tomorrow, given how dire the post is here, I don't think I will get it in time for Christmas.

You need to raise a complaint with PayPal otherwise oodie will delay as much as possible - the other thing they did with me was they would only refund if I cancelled my PayPal case

Just to give you all some hope! Mine arrived today. I'd ordered 2 sleep tees on 18th November. The only response to my emails were the automated ones stating I could ask for a refund or wait until January. Early hours of this morning a got a notification saying my order was on its way and it was delivered this afternoon! Prior to this I didn't even have tracking info it just said my order was confirmed. The whole company is a joke but I really hope so more of you receive your Xmas orders 🤞

Thanks for sharing your experiences, everyone. I still haven't had one positive peep out of them since 10th November. No idea if I'm cancelled or not, but will likely instigate PayPal dispute if I hear nothing within the next few days.
I'm lucky I found the exact one I wanted, BNWT and still vacuum packed on Vinted and I have it wrapped up. I'm also lucky I can afford to wait for refund.
I'm sorry for anyone who's really been let down.

I have raised a complaint....but I have to wait for PayPal to investigate apparently....!

Really glad you were able to find the one you wanted on Vinted and thank you for opening this discussion. I would still have been waiting non the wiser if I hadn’t found this thread.

I have my refund! I sent an email asking for someone to do me the courtesy of sending a reply - and I got one saying they "are inundated with emails and sorry for the delay". And I also got a survey asking me to rate my "comfort consultant".

So, I won't buy from them again which is sad because I've always liked their stuff; I would rather have had the Christmas present - I didn't really need the money back - but I absolutely did on principle!

My husband received this same email stating the refund would take a few days to process, thankfully it was refunded straight away but that is the only good thing I can say about our experience with this company.

Can't believe it but I just got mine delivered, all four. Grey adult, Plant adult, Chicken nugget kids, Fruit and veg kids.

I ordered on Black Friday and then found this thread. Sent chaser emails a couple of times which were ignored, then I sent them another accusing them of having customers over a barrel - I, for one, was too nervous to ask for a refund and buy elsewhere, because Oodie caveated everything with "there's a possibility your order may be picked and packed over the weekend, making it ineligible for cancellation after the request is submitted." And I was not keen on risking ending up with 8 Oodies!

Anyway they replied to that complaint and explained "Unfortunately, one of the major factors within this delay is that our fulfilment centre isn't necessarily fulfilling in sequential order. This means that there are some orders that are yet to be despatched despite being processed in our system significantly earlier than others. We know that this is unacceptable and we are working with our fulfilment partners to ensure this changes as soon as possible."

But the day after that (20 December) I got the dispatch notification. No idea if my complaint pushed it through or what.

Anyway it's been a total mess and I won't be ordered from them again!

Well, I thought my Oodie saga had come to an end last night, but there was an interesting development this morning!
Two days ago I instigated a PayPal dispute. Yesterday I got a cancellation email from Oodie with apology and promise of refund. Refund duly arrived and PayPal closed case. Fine, but the whole experience was crap. As I said earlier, I got one elsewhere.

And then... the postie delivered the bloody Oodie this morning!

I don't have the headspace to deal with this just now, so I'll email them after Christmas/New Year. 😬

I still haven’t got my Oodie from 17 November. I’ve had a few emails saying please be patient but it’s getting a bit late now 22 December🤷‍♀️

So I ordered my 2 oodies as ive said previously on the 8th of November and still haven't received them.
So thought for a laugh I'll try buy a kudd.ly on the 27th of December they dispatched it the next day. Royal mail already emailed saying it'll be delivered tomorrow 30th at around 12pm.. oodie is a joke 😂

I ordered my orange Oodie in Oct and i still have not received it, they say they are very busy and have back log of orders but I am starting to worry about the purchase, they have always informed me but should i be waiting this long

I've been waiting since 29 th October. They do keep in touch with emails so I'm just going to sit it out and wait for them to arrive.... hopefully in time for next Christmas🙄😄

I am still waiting too since 14 November

I ordered 14th November. It was delivered 29th December. The service was terrible because of sales it was a Christmas present which was also disappointing. Got 2 updates and no voucher or discount code for how long I had to wait. It will come, I would definitely chase it up but you'll probably just get a royal mail email the day or 2 before.

To my utter amazement I have, this evening, received an email to say my order has shipped and will be arriving on Saturday!! Fingers crossed!!

Did everyone get their Oodies eventually? I hope so 🤞
