Anyone Heard Back From 2024 Wimbledon Ballot Yet?

Hello All

I am wondering whether I am going to be successful in Wimbledon Ballot for July 2024. My account says "You have not been successful yet" which is so far so good, obviously.

It would be good to hear if anyone has been allocated tickets yet or if there's a while to wait. I am pretty sure it was around this time last year I got my allocation email.

Thanks

I think they’ve already been released and so if you haven’t heard it’s a no.

1990thatsme · 17/11/2023 15:52

Thanks @Terracotta77

To be fair, I had such amazing tickets this year, I doubt anything I was offered would come close. We were CC, right by the commentators box and close to Royal Box. So lucky!

I've got tickets for ladies finals - which is amazing. But they're in row Z! For £460 for 2 I'm not sure that's worth it.

Has anyone been seated that far back and thought it was ok?!

Does anyone know what the % is of getting tickets? DM and I both entered this year, but no joy.

Hapagirl48 · 19/11/2023 18:19

I entered this year (first time ever) and haven't heard either. If I haven't heard yet, do I assume I'm unsuccessful? I am planning my summer holiday around it!

Hbh17 · 19/11/2023 18:28

There will be further allocations after this one. If you reject your tickets from the ballot, you won't be able to apply for returns.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 19/11/2023 18:32

My account says, ‘NOT YET SUCCESSFUL
Successful ballot applicants will be notified from November onwards.’

I’m not giving up hope yet!

tinklylaugh01 · 19/11/2023 18:35

Me too! Fingers crossed

NutellaNut · 19/11/2023 18:38

@Tryingvhard I’ve sat in row Z before and it was far back but you could see pretty well. Mind you, it wasn’t finals day and the tickets were only £60 each - not £230 each! It would probably be a great atmosphere though.

popandchoc · 19/11/2023 19:24

Heard nothing. Didn't get in last year and got some good tickets in the resale so still a chance if you don't get any.

OhpoorMe · 19/11/2023 19:41

I've entered every year for 10 years and have never been successful!

bananafishbones1 · 19/11/2023 19:42

I wasn't successful last year. Just checked and it says not yet successful 😔

soraya · 20/11/2023 09:25

I have been that far back on Centre Court before and it was good. However it was on a different day so we got to see more matches. I can understand your hesitation of spending 460 and you will only get to see one match and it could just go to 2 sets.

soraya · 20/11/2023 09:27

you have a 1 in 10 chance of being successful in the ballot according to Wimbledon website.

Ladies finals day should have a doubles match too so there will be a bit more play. But I agree it's a lot of money for one day!

Sorry I’m being a bit thick here, just logged into my account but can’t see anything about being not successful or any information where do I find the information? Thank you

go to your 'my wimbledon' homepage, click on profile (where you will see your name and contact details), then scroll down, it's underneath that.

dontcallmelen · 20/11/2023 12:17

Many thanks

Tryingvhard · 20/11/2023 13:11

Thanks everyone- yes if it was earlier in the championship I'd be more tempted as you get to see more games.

Think I'm going to unwillingly decline ( and hope this isn't the year Emma Raducanu gets to the final Confused)

What account do I need to check if I got tickets or not

Your ‘my Wimbledon’ account that you applied to the ballot from

SmithfamilyRobinson · 21/11/2023 22:50

Have had a good run especially with the new online ballot, but nowt so far. Last year first Thursday court 1 row CC. Seemed to be returned debenture tickets. Often had row ZZ on CC and good view via Ticketmaster. Dream of front row seats one day must be brutal in full sun, when summer ever comes!

NutellaNut · 22/11/2023 01:08

My daughter’s had an email offering her 4th round tickets. I applied too, nothing so far, but at least that means I can apply for returns nearer the time.

Can you get tickets via Ticketmaster? I’m new to this and trying from Scotland and have so far been unsuccessful in lottery. Ticketmaster would be an option. My teen DD is happy to queue all night but I’m not!

dontcallmelen · 22/11/2023 09:47

Could anyone advise how you apply returns, I didn’t know that could be done thank you.
checked my account yesterday saying not yet successful.
