Anyone Heard Back From 2024 Wimbledon Ballot Yet?

Hello All

I am wondering whether I am going to be successful in Wimbledon Ballot for July 2024. My account says "You have not been successful yet" which is so far so good, obviously.

It would be good to hear if anyone has been allocated tickets yet or if there's a while to wait. I am pretty sure it was around this time last year I got my allocation email.

Thanks

DH and I were unsuccessful in the ballot last year but then were offered resale tickets, we managed to get 2 tickets for the men's final, several rows from the back! Hideously expensive but we had a great view of the match, were mercifully in the shade and, of course, witnessed an historic final!

I had 2 split tickets for Men's Final CC in 2020. We eventually went in 2022. We were 2 rows by 4 seats apart. My elderly Dad was adopted by the couple sat with him. We enjoyed our weekend on holiday together and the match, even though we weren't sat together.

I had thought I would need to send them back as we lost Mum in the May and I didn't think Dad would be up for it. I think he felt, now or never. He's a huge sports fan so it was lovely for him.

If I had sent them back it would have been much later than this so I guess there are trickles of allocations all the time through to the tournament starting.

I also got excited by the towel email!

Betque · 16/01/2024 22:29

I got an email today - men’s final tickets! Ridiculously expensive but we’re not too far away and may never get the chance again.

ThePoshUns · 16/01/2024 22:32

Well done , especially @Betque !
I haven't heard anything

Aquarius1234 · 16/01/2024 22:38

Oh mine are Row Z , no thanks 😢

Rantypanties · 16/01/2024 22:49

@Aquarius1234 I was in row Z and the view wasn’t too bad, just very noisy if it’s a good match and everyone’s cheering! My tickets cost that last year so I say still go!!!

We’ve got tickets for court number one on Friday of the second week.

MirandaWest · 16/01/2024 22:57

Have had an email for centre court women’s semi finals £235 each. In row J.

Is a lot of money. DD and I are considering!

MirandaWest · 16/01/2024 23:00

Have looked at the seating plan and they are in gangway 105 which does seem to be rather near the front….

Go for it @MirandaWest, they look like great seats!

Jolo08 · 17/01/2024 00:52

We got an email today for CC tickets on the middle Saturday. First time we’ve been successful via the ballot.
We managed to get returns last year too. You just have to keep checking as they release them randomly all times of day and night. You also have to be quick because they go in an instant.

I've heard nothing. Bah. So jealous.

Clarkey54 · 20/01/2024 14:59

We still have up to April to get tickets

UnalliterativeGeorge · 20/01/2024 15:31

I got offered women's final tickets but it's £550 for the pair and I paid less than that to see Andy Murray win. I don't think we'll be taking them.

Anna336 no, the rules say one of the tickets has to be used by the ballot member (ID may be checked) and the other one is supposed to be used by someone they already know ie friend or family.

I was offered 2 tickets for the first round, split. Turned them down. Will try again other years.

minipie · 22/01/2024 20:47

How do you look for return tickets please?

Me too row Z so it could be fun getting elderly mother up to her seat!.

SlightlyJaded · 22/01/2024 21:23

Placemarking.

Still nothing here. I know that allocations do still happen well into the New Year, so ever hopeful!

Betque · 23/01/2024 08:00

I had until 28 January to accept my offer, they should ballot again shortly thereafter.
