Anyone Heard Back From 2024 Wimbledon Ballot Yet?

Hello All

I am wondering whether I am going to be successful in Wimbledon Ballot for July 2024. My account says "You have not been successful yet" which is so far so good, obviously.

It would be good to hear if anyone has been allocated tickets yet or if there's a while to wait. I am pretty sure it was around this time last year I got my allocation email.

Thanks

I’ve got a choice of Thursday 4th or Monday 8th, No1 court. Which would you go for? Thursday is cheaper (and money is super tight right now) and thinking they’ll be better tennis. And more going on on the outer courts? It’s my first time going so as much about the “atmosphere” as the tennis.

Hi. I applied via app and heard nothing by email and have checked the Wimbledon app - which is confusing.

Would someone mind directing me to where to find the ticket section any updates? When you open the app at the bottom, left to right, you have:
home - draws - scores - order - more and have checked all of these and can't find any link to tickets.

popandchoc · 01/02/2024 10:43

I'd go Thurs 4th if you are going for the atmosphere etc anyway. You never know who you will get on court. We were the first Thurs last year court 2 and had some good tennis.

@popandchoc thanks, that was my gut.

It’s under the MyWilmbledon section - you should see Ballot

Clarkey54 · 01/02/2024 15:05

Hi you have to register with Wimbledon on line. It instructs got to give name/address/email etc

Clarkey54 · 01/02/2024 15:06

The Wimbledon app is from 2023 I think

ChessieFL · 01/02/2024 15:32

I’m not sure if you can check on the app. I went to MyWimbledon via browser then once you login there’s a Ballot section at the bottom of the page and it’s there.

Ok thanks.

I have now logged in via web browser not the app and I could see the status as 'no tickets currently available' so not successful this time. Last year I got an email that directed to the app to accept the tickets offered. I'm surprised the app doesn't show your ballot outcome. I'm registered for all notifications.

ChessieFL · 01/02/2024 16:46

That’s odd - that’s different to what I see which says ‘not yet successful’

Mine is saying that as well Chessie - I’m still holding out some (vague) hope that I’ll still be offered tickets?

ChessieFL · 02/02/2024 05:33

Yes, still hoping Fizzy!

GoldenGlidingTreeFrog · 02/02/2024 11:25

It was around this time last year that I got the email saying we had tickets - centre court. Very far back but had a brilliant day. So don't give up hope yet. I am still waiting...

ThePoshUns · 02/02/2024 12:08

Mine says the same Chessie. 🙏🏻

Clarkey54 · 02/02/2024 16:30

Hopefully we will all get tickets

oz2308 · 13/02/2024 14:14

This is how we have got our Centre Court tickets for this year. My husband is an LTA member which is easy to do. We have not been successful in the ballot so far so I guess the LTA ballot has already happened and perhaps there is more chance of being offered tickets that way? Who knows?!

GimmeGin · 13/02/2024 17:45

I am a LTA member (£20), but not heard anything. Is there anywhere on the LTA website that has your ballot results? Or is it all done through MyWimbledon? I've entered the free ballot on MyWimbledon too, and not heard anything about that either. Are they both via email links?

My DS has got this email:

you've been successful in the LTA Advantage Wimbledon Ballot!

You'll receive an email on 9 February with a link to access the online ticket sale, where you'll be able to select your preferred day and court. There's no further action required from you at this point!

The ticket sale is open from 10:00 on Wednesday 14 February until 23:59 on Thursday 15 February 2024.

but when he got the email link on 9th, it was just to re-register his email address, which he has done. I'm assuming he will get another email tomorrow with the buy tickets link?

Honestly, I am finding it quite confusing between LTA v MyWimbledon, and I am (normally) quite a techie person.

husbandcallsmepickle · 13/02/2024 17:49

I was successful in 2020 and got the notification by email on 11th February. My account this time round is still saying not yet successful.

Clarkey54 · 13/02/2024 19:28

how to you join the lta

Clarke54 · 23/02/2024 17:31

When do we register for the ticket resale

LIZS · 12/03/2024 19:25

We had an email today about resale tickets

Clarkey54 · 13/03/2024 10:12

I didn’t but got tickets for the final at the queens club

LIZS · 13/03/2024 10:52

Just booked for first Wednesday

Fizzywinegum · 13/03/2024 11:18

Does everyone unsuccessful in the ballot get resale tickets? I haven’t had an email

LIZS · 13/03/2024 11:58

Think so, but they seem to offer access over time. Ds has also not yet had an email to access resale tickets, and some reported on here they had a month or so ago.
