Sunak snubs the scientists?

Merrymouse · 20/11/2023 22:43

seriously, how has the globe collectively managed to produce such a generation of fucked up leaders? Was it all the lead in petrol or something?

Social media rewards complete loons.

IClaudine · 20/11/2023 22:45

Sunak and the trolls of Eton?

"Sense and Sunakability?"

L1ttledrummergirl · 21/11/2023 07:59

Sunak sunk, or too soon?

Roussette · 21/11/2023 08:03

I am just gobsmacked that it has come out in the Covid enquiry, that scientists helping the Government had no knowledge whatsoever of Sunak's 'eat out to help out' bonkers scheme. Unbelievable.

Chris Whitty today.

Save that one for GE night?

Not only that but Sunak put in his statement to the enquiry that none of the scientists voiced any objection to his plan. Conveniently forgotting to mention that that's because he never told them about it.

Laura Trott is having a hard time defending him this morning, she is not denying he said it, more like "of course they wouldn't have got everything right."

I did find it bonkers I have to say. Yes, I will admit to having a couple of meals out on the scheme but just wondered why? Because everyone had been so caged up, I could not get my head around the fact they would be going out as soon as they could anyway.
