As you may or may not know, I'm in Sweden and my son's rural village school has had lots of 'observers' from the UK. They come in packs to learn about how education is done here. My DS always gets picked as their guide as he's best at speaking English, being a brit. Based on what he's done with them I'd expect the new world class education to include identifying, picking and cooking wild mushrooms, how to catch crayfish and cook them on an open fire, and how to spot trolls in the forest. Not sure how it'll work in an innercity school but no doubt it'll be grand now that Rishi's on it.
