I made a thread last time so thought I'd do another for those of us who are due to receive it. Due to be paid between 31st October and 19th November.

Anyone had theirs yet? I haven't, nobody else I know who is due it has either.

Nope. On Tax credits

DomTheDim · 01/11/2023 08:47

Mine arrived today

Is it the same time frame for tax credits? I remember last time the dates were a bit later than UC.

No. Not yet. I'm irritated tbh. It shouldn't take up to 2 weeks to roll this out when it was decided on a year ago. Plenty of time to get organised surely?

My payments in '22 both turned up on day 1 but this year it's been far slower for no reason I can fathom.

Oh well. It'll turn up eventually

TransformationChynaDoll · 01/11/2023 08:51

I don't know if I'll get one as in the assessment period I had one payment of £16 and one of £0

Tax credits are 10th to 19th I think

Princesspollyyy · 01/11/2023 08:58

I had a COL payment yesterday, was totally not expecting it, but I received £300!

AllWeWantToDo · 01/11/2023 09:01

I've not had mine yet but my son has had his

madeinmanc · 01/11/2023 09:09

Like every other scheme and benefit and discount, I'm not entitled to this. If you're on a low income but don't claim benefits, you are in a terrible position in this country.

Dawn17 · 01/11/2023 13:25

I received mine today, north west England, qualifying benefit was UC, surname begins with D. Hope that helps anyone work out when theirs may be due. I must say I am extremely grateful for it as I know it will be swallowed up by my next couple of energy bills. Anyone who thinks it's going to be spent on "luxuries" has never had to survive on benefits, especially these days. I hope everyone waiting for theirs gets it soon.

slavetothekittens · 01/11/2023 14:05

Got mine yesterday, North West, ESA.

If you are on a low income, why don't you claim any benefits?

defi · 01/11/2023 14:10

Mine came earlier this week

TigerRag · 01/11/2023 15:09

Mine came yesterday, on ESA and in the south west

If you are on a low income , why aren’t you claiming benefits ? That’s what they are there for !

Terfosaurus · 01/11/2023 15:16

Mine hasn't come yet. I'm "winter proofing" in the form of thick blankets, fluffy socks and thermal under layers when it does.

It only started yesterday though, your irritation isn’t really necessary yet. They made it very clear it would be between those 2 dates so it’s not a surprise.

Beezknees · 01/11/2023 15:29

I think I got mine on the second day after it started last time. UC claimant surname beginning O.

Terfosaurus · 01/11/2023 15:31

I can't remember when I got mine last time, but I know it was different to the previous one.
I'm not worried though, I'll get it when it's my turn and I'm very grateful.

Devilsmommy · 01/11/2023 15:32

Yes got ours Tuesday. West Midlands, UC, surname beginning T. I didn't actually think we'd get it so quick but I was told it's UC first, then tax credits, then pensions. Don't know if that's right

BuffaloCauliflower · 01/11/2023 15:34

Do you know who’s due to get this one? I received one in the summer but not any of the others, I get DLA but no means tested benefits so didn’t expect to get one

IAmBarbaraMillicentRoberts · 01/11/2023 15:36

Got mine today, R surname, Scotland, UC claim.
