Actors who are perfectly cast

Following on from the discussion about actors who are not, who are the ones who are?

To me, Gone Girl was beautifully cast. Ben Affleck as Nick, Rosamund Pike as Amy, all of the minor characters...

Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool obviously.

I disagree with the casting in Gone Girl. I didn’t think any of the main characters were correctly cast.
When I read a book I quite often imagine who would play each main part. These actors were not on my radar.
I loved the book but the film was a bit of a letdown.

Agree about Robert Downey Jr & Chris Evans - in fact a lot of the Marvrl casting is very good - Tom Hiddlestone as Loki & Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

Definitely Maggie Smith as McGonagall (and anything else she plays tbh!), Zoe Wanamaker as Madam Hooch. The only bits of good casting in the whole franchise imo.
