When I read about him dating P Geldof when she was 16 and he was in his 30s.

I am so sick of all these predatory men.

A grown man dating someone that age is dodgy as hell.

Sometimes i feel as though i'm in a parallel universe here. 'Serious issues' because I don't think it's normal for a 33yo man to have 'chemistry' with a 16yo girl. 😆

There is nothing normal about this. And he would have known her age as it’s pretty obvious who she is 😂
Its dodgy with an 18 year old because they’re so much younger but 16? 🤢

Aye, you can blame Aesop for that with his "You can judge people by the company they keep" moral.
As it is, I'm not even sure how close they are. They did Big Fat Quiz together in 2006, 2007 and 2015. Three appearances out of 37 shows. RB also teamed up with Jonathan Ross in 2009.
A pp says they appear to be acquaintances only. Plus, Katherine Ryan has appeared on Big Fat Quiz when Noel was on twice (he has been on it thirteen times though).

I doubt she was in school in the normal sense, she had a job.

It's not weird for adults who meet in an adult environment, like a club, to hang out together, without age really coming into it. I don't ask people I meet at work, or at a bar, their age before I talk to them and develop a friendship. If it comes up it's mainly by chance.

She was 16. He was 33. Just keep that in your heads. He would have known how old she was-she was Bob Geldof's daughter. If decent 33 year old men feel "chemistry" with a 16 year old girl, they shut up about it and remove themselves from the vicinity. Fast. Sheesh, I find it incredible that this should need saying. How about going on the Relationship board here and saying you're a 33 year old man and you feel incredible chemistry with the 16 year old daughter of an acquaintance!

I don’t know how many people feel that way any more. Same with Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson. People are being more critical now of it both ways around - which is exactly how it should be.

Not really - at the height of the Schofield age gap/mentee/work power imbalance furore - Caroline Flack/Cheryl Cole/ Sam Taylor-Johnson/Brigitte Macron were all brought up as women you wouldn't be happy your teenage son had hooked up with either!

I think what's important is if he knew about Brand and if so, why would he want to be pals with someone like that?
