Got new teeth....need honest opinions please

Hi there,

My first post on MN but really hoping to get some opinions.

Due to teeth loss (long story) I have paid privately to get a dental bridge - incisors and 2 front teeth. I had the bridge fitted on Monday. The intention is that this lasts 1-2 years while I have treatment for bone loss before implants are done.

I had very gappy and uneven top front teeth prior to this so I knew I'd take a while to adjust but I'm so disappointed with the look I've achieved.

I just feel the teeth look too big and because of how straight they are, look false. My family and friends keep reassuring me that they look good but if I'm honest, I don't know if I believe them!

I feel I need opinions from people who dont know me. Please be kind with comments but of course honest too. I have a follow up meeting on Monday and it will help me decide what to do.

Thank you

I think you look great. Probably just need time to get used to them

They look beautiful! As others have said, you're probably just not used to seeing your teeth like this do it feels strange.

I think they look really great op! I’m in a position where I might need some veneers in the future and this picture makes me feel a lot more okay about that!

They look great. It's just that you're not used to them yet.

They look like you've had your teeth whitened as so many do these days, other than that they look great in my opinion!

Be careful with implants if you have periodontal disease or any bone loss. Perio specialists strongly advise against as 9/10 reject shortly after implanting and it's a very expensive mistake.

They look great!

Claricestarling1 · 15/09/2023 21:17

Oh wow they are lovely! Don’t look too big at all and definitely not false 😍

floofbag · 15/09/2023 21:50

What do you real teeth look like? They do look false but they look ok.

That's the look now anyways isn't it. Turkey teeth are just the same and everyone has them .

They look lovely, they are white and straight. I do think they are possibly a bit big but still nice. It might take u a while to get used to them and maybe they are very different to what u had before.

steelingmyself · 15/09/2023 22:51

They look great - now I want new teeth!

Oiyouoverthere · 16/09/2023 11:34

I'm really glad you posted the before photo - I was going to say that the new teeth look too big BUT they're actually just a perfect version of your original teeth and therefore are fine.

mcmooberry · 16/09/2023 12:05

I am going to revise my original answer now have seen your before picture. Your before teeth are pretty white and large (and actually not too bad imo, I am not saying TOO large) so the after isn't absurd. I was imagining the before teeth to look much worse/different.
