Song that you irrationally hate…

Mine is (I’ve Had) the Time of My Life, from ‘Dirty Dancing’.

It’s like nails on a chalk board and I can’t even explain why. It’s not even the worst song but it gives me rage and I always have to turn over the radio when it’s on.

Add to that any song by Anastacia, although these days she is rarely played on the radio.

I’m hoping that it’s not just me and suspect everyone has “that song” that they just cannot stand, for no rhyme nor reason. What is yours?

Oh dear -- I like quite a lot of these songs!

The song that really grates on me is a dance one. Not sure what it's called, but it just keeps on going 'tonight's gonna be a good night' I just want to smash whatever is playing it!
Also don't like anything by Celine Dion or Whitney Houston. And Phil Collins absolutely ruined Groovy Kind of Love

Summer Nights from Grease makes me want to rip off my own ears. Actually, most of the songs from Grease provoke a similar reaction. Dunno why. I normally quite like a musical.

Also loathe 'The Boys Are Back In Town' namely as the boys sound like a bunch of utter wankers.

Any motivational dance anthem hijacked by corporate world from 90s. Heather Small, search for the hero. I’ve got the power. Nothing wrong with the songs as such, they just bring back memories of awful jobs and forced jollity.

The one by Heart you've mentioned is bad enough but the one All I Want to Do is Make Love to You is ten times worse. Sickmaking horrible stuff. Should have been called All I Want You To do Is Be My Sperm Donor.
