Song that you irrationally hate…

Mine is (I’ve Had) the Time of My Life, from ‘Dirty Dancing’.

It’s like nails on a chalk board and I can’t even explain why. It’s not even the worst song but it gives me rage and I always have to turn over the radio when it’s on.

Add to that any song by Anastacia, although these days she is rarely played on the radio.

I’m hoping that it’s not just me and suspect everyone has “that song” that they just cannot stand, for no rhyme nor reason. What is yours?

Me too hits every damn last nerve. Worse because I actually love football as well. For me it just encourages over zealous, loadmouth pissheads in the pub that can't sing for shit to shout the lyrics out as loud as possible 🤦🏻‍♀️ eurgh.

Enough said I can feel the rage building 😂

Are some of these songs hated because they remind you of a person/time/place/significant event happening in your life at the time?

I love all sorts of music but I equate certain songs to stages or events in my life (I'm quite good at guess the year on the radio because of this, DP finds it odd)
With this i have songs I can't listen to or prefer not to because I'm not keen on the memories but equally there are songs that bring back good memories.

Titanium by Sia. The only song that makes me turn the radio off. It literally makes my ears hurt!

OH! And The Beach Boys wind me up too.
